Also if it followed how the book went it would be a 30-60min good movie or a 2+ hour long boring af one lol Because of how short the book is for Fahrenheit 451

Thats basically everything except the original LOTR for me lol
I thought the hunger games were good books. third one was fairly shit as the writing was kinda all over the place.
The movies were pretty meh
I’m fine with adding things that make that improve the story or make it fit the new medium, but too often it takes away from the story in my opinion.
The Harry Potter movies were pretty close to the books. They mostly took the stuff out that would be boring in the movies. And the Elf Strike that Hermione tried to initiate.
most of my hate is directed at the last book, first one I like, second one was ok.

i feel about the same way. first one was really good. second was good but pretty meh writing. third one was all over the place especially near the end of the book. i struggled to get a idea of what was going on

First ones were OK and it got randomly worse or better depends which one lol.

That is literally worse than twilight because at least with twilight the books were bad so it was expected that the movies would be bad.
With Shannara the books were so good… And the TV show is shit.
