To be fair, the electronics stores here are garbage. Until 3 years ago the big chains (Saturn, Mediamarkt) didnāt even have any internal PC components except for SSDs and a lot of the other, smaller stores are very hit and miss. When I have to send something back to Amazon I only need to go to the post office instead of across town. And a lot of the times Amazon just has more things to choose from and cheaper (plus, with some of the ācheaperā stores you have to pay a fee to even pay for the things you buy).
The big book store chain we have here is garbage too. Very small section for English books and the ones I want need to be ordered (go to the store, find a retail person, tell them what I want, they order it, have to come back when it arrives - on Amazon I just order it and get it delivered).
Only thing annoying with Amazon is that āab 18ā movies (Kill Bill Vol.1, etc.) donāt apply to Prime shipping.
And they went almost full retard when it comes to properly packaging CDs (3 out of 5 get damaged during shipping cause only thin cardboard envelope).

We actually really enjoy it. BA brings us together, and we donāt have to think about what weāll have for dinner, the 2.5 days we see each other during the week. Really frees us up.
Their customer service is also superb. They forgot to give me a pepper one time and credited my account for the missing ingredients, and then a week later in the mail I got a handwritten apology letter.
Would recommend.
