What about games? And Iād need to switch user to update, etc. which is kinda annoying then. Just a simple console experience (uhmā¦like back in the days, not that update-ridden shit of today).
Games are fine becasue they install to your home directory and if you really wanted to you could setup a cronjob to auto update the system for you.

I would go at it with a dual user approach. A end-user and admin model. That way you wonāt have to boot into a live env and chroot to fix your system.
