College is stupid expensive

8 years of college and expecting a school to hire you. I would stay away from elementary schools though. Thats a lawsuit waiting to happen

My parents just gave up on trying to get me doing homework in high school, good times.

Well shit… I only made it halfway and didn’t even finish that (I absolutely hated the program and the students and the teachers and the school in general also wasn’t necessary because I knew I’d be running this business, but it is what it is I suppose…)

The fucking place would always schedule the exams on monday at 8pm. When I work 3rd shift on weekends. Fucking assholes. Builds character my ass.

Now, after my life has stabilized, I am going to WGU (Western Governors Unv) to finish out my BS in Software Dev.

Set my own pace and git shit done.

When I was at university a lot of people dropped out due to not being able to work and do the course at the same time because of the scheduling and the amount of work that had to be completed. It is pretty much a full time job as it is.

same here. I even intentionally fail some classes XD. The credit recovery classes are so easy its not even a joke. I can get a whole semesters worth of a english credit in about 4 hours of work. Thats mostly because classes go over the same shit for 8 years but still

I failed a semester of AP US History in high school, but passed the AP test for it and got college credit for the class. I got to say it’s one of my proudest moments.

well yeah, you won’t believe the hours I put into that, 7 day weeks a lot the time mostly when assignments were due with all nighters and still I failed some modules.

ugh… I hated english. Such a waste of time. Pretty sure you’re considered fluent by the time you reach high school, and

This is more true for English than any other class… other than PE I suppose…

At least with Math you learn new stuff each year… that’s how it was for me at least.

At my school, if you passed the exam but failing the course you would get a passing grade.

That was kind of the ā€˜deal’.

I did only one homework assignment my senior year of high school.

in math we spent the first half of the year going back over what we learned in the last half of last year.

History covers the same events year to year with the only change being what perspective you take on it.

English we over analyze every little like why the curtains were blue XD

At my last high school you didnt have to take the final exam if your grade was high enough

Really hard english final? Opt-Out of it

I’m gonna go pick up some beer.
