Hmm. Kindof cool, of more interest to me is that I had no idea Obsidian was behind the stick of truth and a couple of those others lol. Mainly because I didnt pay attention to Stick of Truth as I dont like south park sooo yeah but still.
Pillars of Eternity though Iām going to have to get at some point.

That game looks amazing. Its such a shame Sega cancelled it that far along in development. Some of the features they discussed in that game were mindblowingly good.

Basically just because if we have those have to verify people are 18 for them. Well actually not really as I never plan to have a market here unless thereās a large volume of requests for it or something but still (because internet rules that I actually perfectly understand why they exist now so I will have them here too for the most part)

Well there would be the whole thing if someone who is under 18, starts talking about themselves smoking and etc is a bit of a grey area. And us talking to them about it is very grey area.
Not that I am one one to judge its just I also donāt want the site taken down (nor I think do others here lol.)
The way R/cigars does it is quite smart imo, if you are under 18 in the subreddit and they find out you get banned from it until you are 18.

The drinking one is a whole other thing and that varies from state to state so I am not going to worry as much about that one. Some places is 18, others is any age if you have parents buy it, some is 21+ only so is fine.
(And outside of the US its literally random lol)

yea i guess it could be seen as bad in that respect. my thought was that as long as we are not actively encouraging underage people than it would be fine but yea grey areas.
I mean drinking age here is 18 and that is where the server so shouldnāt be a problem if you required 18 and somebody wasnāt 21 in their state? also legal smoking age here is 16 you just canāt buy them if you arenāt 18.
Also this mostly because every single cigar website (also cigarettes but I dont like those so dont visit them as much) website regardless of whether they have a store or not has a āare you 18ā clickable when you first go there, or warnings saying you shouldnt use the site if you are under 18 so Iām guessing that theres laws about these things being on the internet.
The drinking one is whateverā¦ My thoughts on that are if someone is drinking and posts that they are, and they are underage ā¦ Fine? Its on the internet and if they get in trouble as a resultā¦ Oops? I know Ive posted while drinking and by now everyone know more or less how old I am lolā¦

Iām mostly indifferent on it but having an age restriction might be a smart idea just to be on the safe side. after all we donāt want to get in trouble over it.

And yeah @Dje4321 this is more if the forum gets to the point we actually have randoms lol. For now is mostly just people we know so its more than fine as is. Just was thinking about rules for various threads.
I mean if what @Dje4321 said is true then it should be fine. my only thought would be that if we were encouraging people to actually do it instead of them just admitting it then it might be an issue.
