I’m doing a deep dive research for a guide/wiki I’m working on. This time the guide will also be posted here cause I’m going at this one alone. I actually don’t need any help on this one just making sure I remember all the facts.
Installed Solus on my laptop and currently setting things up. install was mostly fine apart from some issues with eopkg but works great now and liking it so far.
Its going great, just messing around trying to get more acquainted with Solus and Budgie and its growing on me. One things for sure is that Solus runs a lot better on my laptop than Fedora does and I’m sure the battery life is much better.
Fedora is designed for the desktop but the keep making it better on laptops but yeah. Solus is much more lean out of the box. Dont forget to install TLP and check powertop for what can be improved for better battery life
