Should I…
I did and am fairly sure i’ll regret it /s
That’s what I’m worried about
never played DnD but this will be a good start for getting into the games
So im starting to fall in love with running things on multiple x sessions XD. is really nice
can have a regular desktop on one, a game or something else on another, and a hidden browser that no one knows about on a third Xsession.
yep is pretty neat want to try and get another DE running on a different Xsession also so I can switch between i3 and something more traditional.
can also do
startx /usr/bin/xterm
oh right kinda forgot about startx XD
so I now have i3 on F2 and Gnome on F3, why haven’t i done this before now
dont even need to run a DE. could go with a game by itself
yep plan on running games in their own Xsession but there are times when i3 pisses me off and I want to use something else XD
yep. I wont have to worry about leaving porn open because no one will even be able to see it XD
Now that surely has to be the best usecase for this
noo videos won’t play when the browser is in its own xsession
are you using firefox?
tried it with both firefox and chromium, they’ll start but videos are frozen.
they work fine for me
Might just be a Fedora thing, no media content will play in an xsession at all even local video and audio files.
its not flawless for me either. Budgie keeps crashing when i switch between sessions
yeah kinda not surprised by that because Budgie XD
only issues I have when switching is that sometimes my monitors cut out but thats a weird issue with nvidia drivers i think.
So this is super fucking interesting and turns the whole distro model on its head
this is pretty fucking neat, so if i’m getting this right its a completely modular Linux distro built by the package manager and individual parts of the system can be updated, rolled back or changed whenever?
