The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

RIP. there is like 3-4 walmarts less than 15 minutes away from me

We have too many superstores here. let me see, Tesco, Morrison’s, ASDA (which is Wal-Mart), Aldi, Lidl and multiple of each one all within a short distance of each other.

i have cosco, walmart, target, dillions, aldi, kmart, and probably a few others im forgetting. for the most part there is atleast 3-4 of each.

Granted I live in a town of like 26,000 but still

Across the bridge the city is about triple the suze hence why there’s a Sam’s club, target etc there.

Ooh I forgot about Super One. Those are in a different part of town and the main reason the two stores survive is because they have giant liquor and smoke shops in them as well as the groceries.
So they only kinda count lol

not bad. is mostly the same here. only place that isn’t super close is Cosco and have to cross the river to get to it and traffic at the toll is always really bad.

When I was in Minneapolis, there was superstores everywhere lol but now in smallish town as mentioned
I generally like the small town everything but sometimes it gets annoying. Like literally no interesting tech stores and not many options for food and the like
Also people here dont understand HOW TO NOT MAKE BLAND FOOD GAHHHH
But thats more a regional thing …Getting ā€œchineseā€ food here just makes me sad, nothing tastes remotely like it should rofl. Its bad when ā€œspicyā€ means… ā€œHey look it tastes like something nowā€

I live about 7 miles away from one of the UKs major cities (and possibly the major one in the north east) so we have pretty much everything to choose from in terms of stores apart from tech. There is literally only 1 tech store around here now and they either don’t or hardly stock any computer parts. is mostly tablets and washing machines now.

dont you live near yorkshire?

Not really, Yorkshire is more the midlands it isn’t too far away though. I live near Newcastle Upon Tyne to be specific.

Very nice, so many choices lol.
And online stuff is pretty good for tech now anyway (mostly)

Oh also its bad when the best bbq place around here is freaking Famous Daves lol. Not that Famous Daves is bad (its quite decent) but its also a chain restaurant so. And thats the best one in the area lol.

There is a couple good wings places tho so that’s nice I guess?

damn. thats pretty far up north. do people say you live in the north north?

We have quite a few chain restaurant around here but is some really nice local BBQ places in town plus Chinese restaurants because China town.

north north is reserved for Scotland. We are one of the farthest places in the North of England but Scotland still give us shit for not being as north as them and places like London still give us shit for being that far up north.

Yep the rules are that England gets worse and less civilized the furthest north you get but in Scotland the further south you are seen as a bitch because you don’t have to deal with the cold as much because that highlands master race.

Yay, I found my grandfather’s other pair of headphones…man, those are weird to plug in. But made in Japan
Also found a bunch of 1/4" extension cords (1x straight, 1x curled) and some other audio cables (long as stereo RCA cable which is like 10+m long).

What’s the deal with Pizza chains? We have one here (PizzaMann) and their Pizza is burned, greasy, toppings are dry and scarce and on top of that it’s overpriced. Are all Pizza chains like that?

Fuck no
