yep. trying to iterativly iterate over a list is a pain :frowning:

got that part down now though so now too move onto formatting the output

yep formatting should be fairly easy now with python though

I can transcode videos AND watch YT, browse the web or watch anime at the same time without the system stuttering or lagging like hell.
This still amazes me.

yep Ryzen is amazing at multitasking, I can compile software, watch youtube and even some light gaming at the same time without so much of a hint that anything is slowing down even when the CPU is pegged.

My 4130 was abysmal at that. Transcoding always required its own time cause the system would lag like hell.

still glad we told you to go for the 1700?

Absolutely.
If it wasn’t for the still remaining BIOS settings reset upon every prolonged shut-off period.

did you ever find out what was causing that? I’m sure you could RMA the board for an issue like that?

Well its something at the very least. Got the very basics for systemd error checking

AC: Rogue looks really good in 4k, lol. and at close to max settings runs at 60FPS

and ofc a little stabby action, lol

yep since its working great I should now find out if I should be worried about this error XD

yep. ive not tried to look into any of my errors since i cant test if my script works anymore if there are no errors to test against

yeah thats a good idea, just think though, you’ll be error free after all this XD

Also seems to be a bug with AMD processors and the mce module, there’s a bug report for on the redhat bugzilla.

Nope.
And before I’d RMA it I’d contact Gigabyte to see if they have any clues. RMAing would mean a few weeks without my desktop and if I can I’d avoid that.

As long as I keep the PC on it’s a minor issue. Rebooting doesn’t trigger it, only power-offs.
I only need to enter the BIOS and load my saved profile and everything’s hunkydory again.
