laptop did fine. thankfully the transcode was completely IO limited so it couldnt actually pull data from the disk fast enough. what i get for 1080p quicktime lossless on a shitty HDD

yep hopefully it wouldn’t be nearly as bad this time then especially since that msata SSD should help a ton for transcoding over that shitty HDD.

yep. should hopefully do pretty well. Space will be a concern since that last project was 50GB and that was only 1080p
