Meh, it’s what its called on most places (WoWs) so. I never gave a damn about WoW so it doesnt bother me lol…
(Never played when it started. And now its a lot of money for an ancient style of game when other things do the same thing but much better… And sometimes for free.)
For example? Honestly curious what your picks would be as I haven’t found another MMORPG as good as WoW.
Guild wars for example. Both of them.
Partially because I don’t care to pay a significant amount of money. Per month. To a stupid game when I can use it for a phone bill, etc.
But also because I played through all of the first one and it was quite good. I haven’t played much of the second one yet. Just because time.
Sooo much content lol.
Also I couldn’t personally care about a lot of MMORPGs because the best RPGs i have played are offline. With the exception of Guild wars.
Guild Wars 2 was so promising at the start…

It’s so different now I stopped playing it.
Gave GW2 a try a couple of times (free trial). Didn’t really warm up to it. What I really like about it though is that you buy the game and that’s it. No monthly costs, no premium shit.
TERA is fun but the limitations are clear compared to the premium members. Also reminds me a bit of FF games with those Big Ass Monsters.
But in the end I always came back to WoW (been a while since I last played though).
I did almost forget about Planetside 2 though. That one is pretty fun to hop in and go shoot things (FPS not RPG, on an earlier topic). Though I’m very confused by it as well and the progression system is … A bit strange to say the least lol. But still, jumping into massive firefights is interesting and its basically a good, online Halo type of game. Except much. Much. Bigger battles.
I totally forgot about it for literal years though lol… Which says how much I play MMOs of any type lol (with the exception of above mentioned … 5? 7? Games. I don’t generally enjoy many MMOs because single player is a lot better for what I like. )
Coincidentally this is why if it seems sometimes like I’m gone for an entire day… I probably did a
This game is a fun strategy or building game!

8 hours later:
Oh. Well there went the whole day.
Lol.
I legit have banned myself from buying Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition to make sure I spend most of my free time writing.
I put probably 600 hours in the OG one. It was the only game I had for a very long time.
Off to bed. Stay safe everyone.
What if i dont want too?
That was me with Empire: Total War
Steam says I have 189 hours… But when I got the game it was when it was brand new in 2009 I barely used steam online if ever so the real amount is likely triple or more of that as it was the only PC game I had (other than Thief II and AoE II+III) for about 3-4 years lol. And it was my favorite of those 4 games.
If there was ever a sequel to Empire and it was good… There would go every waking second of free time i have lol
Rome II and the rest I don’t consider worthy of the name total war but that’s a whole other matter
wolfleben wakes up and were all battered, bleeding and everything is on fire it is all a haze
My cousin played that a lot. Before he developed a serious Birth of Isaac and Rocket League addition (~900h and 1000+h).
Aw, man. I just wanted to eat some Tidepods.
Such a buzzkill…
Sounds like your cousin is @ThatBootsGuy
Nah, my cousin’s not the drunk tax guy.
about what i expected. Higher than average but not completely cherry picked. If intel is cherry picking then they are doing like the best 10%
