The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

Gave away like 6 codes on the AMD stream just now lol… And I still have… 30 some to go.
In any case was fun. Was going to announce it but the forum did a derp before I was going live and wouldn’t let me post for a bit but still lol

Might stream more later might not. Have to decide whether to build a new system today or tomorrow… Or wait till the weekend… Hmm…

yeah I’m sorry about that, my internet cut out during that time and took me a little bit to get it working again.

It just means you and @Dje4321 didn’t get game codes lol… Gave 6 codes away and only 8 people total entered so you more than likely wouod have won at least one if you were there xD

Had enough of budgie or just want to use something else for a change?

RIP is KDE fucked on Solus?

want something else

Just not shipped by default. Is in the repos but iirc its not 100% stable. Gonna go with gnome and install KDE on the side. If i even can

ah can’t say I’m surprised it isn’t stable on Solus but then again it was never completely stable on Fedora for me either but hopefully it’ll be alright on the side.

only reason solus is being slow with KDE is because they pretty much just have 1 person maintaining the whole QT side of the distro

yea that would make sense since KDE and QT isn’t the default in Solus but kind of a shame though that they have spread this thin with it.

they are just spread thin in general

With only 4-5 people officially working on Solus it can’t be easy todo everything. given it has a fairly strong userbase I’m sort of surprised it isn’t at least a little more than it is now.

im sure there is people from the community contributing but they only have a few people at the head of projects

yep that would make sense but even so though they desperately need more people working on stuff. I’m half tempted to see what I can do to contribute to Solus at least in the bug reporting capacity and hopefully get some of those issues sorted out.
