lmao
Ayy
also yay new trial run show
also that moment when the Firepro version of the R9 390x is $40 cheaper (and has double the RAM and has much better double float performance lol)
also my dadās got like 4 of them now for mining. They work quite well provided you have enough airflow on them.
also some have a single Displayport output so in theory could be for gaming?
i might be wrong but dont the S series of firepro cards have SR-IOV support
I believe so. As one of the intended uses is virtualisation so.
actually @Dje4321 i have no idea if the S9150 does SR-IOV
the Polaris based S7150s and the Vega Firepro do support SR-IOV though so it could be yes or no for these older ones.
lmfao this just gets better
also internet of shit is a great twitter account

ā¦So⦠Remember how I said I wasnāt going to do a ReShade for Hellblade? I decided Iām going to attempt to make the game look even better with ReShade. Why? Cause it is a challenge to someone like me who is on the advance/expert level for ReShade. Now Iām not going to do it till I actually beat the game which will likely happen in the next three weeks. I only play games on Saturday so that is why it takes me a while to beat a game.
Will I make a video of this? Nope cause if I can actually make it look better, it will take many hours of tweaking.
Iām going to make two reshade profiles:
Somehow Better than normal with a light green hue [green hue is maybe]
Black and White
What will you lot get out of this potentially?:
Once Long ago I made desktop wallpapers with in game screenshots. So potentially lots of Hellblade desktop wallpapers made by me. I can honestly say I could make anywhere between 10 to 30 wallpapers for the game.
uploading my empire stream from yesterday to Youtube currently
3.5gb for 2.2 hours of 720P60FPS lol
may take a while to upload (let alone process) but still
also browsing ebay while waiting for above to finish
gpu market still is sad lol
CPUs and stuff are fine but i dont need any more of those. I suppose i could resell some but still.
I think that was the first time for me blush
Only other times I had to send stuff back cause it got damaged during shipping.
The SMSL M3 is fucking overkill amp-wise for the K702. Wearing earplugs (cause fucking neighbors) and the volume is still enough without even reaching 12am on the volume knob (starts at ~7am, 9am is enough and 12 is still with earplugs fairly loud).
The DAC inside pretty much supported my decision to swap the K702 for the K712. Highs are a bit too much for me on those headphones and the K712 āfixā that.
Has only happened to me once but that was from a third-party seller. Iāve heard of many stories of people buying GPUs and such from amazon that used out to be used cards though.
Iām glad your liking it. is a pretty good dac for the price.
Often they donāt even mention who they bought it from, who the seller was. Just āI bought it on Amazonā.
In my case I bought it directly from Amazon (directly sold and the shipping is handled by them), which is why I was so surprised and pissed.
I need to use it longer until I can state my final verdict. Might just be the amp providing enough power for the headphones to sound as they should, rather than the DAC working its magic. The again, how would I know? Canāt compare the DAC to another DAC (no, phone and onboard donāt count).
But how would I really know? It kinda starts with the recording: how is a song āsupposedā to sound? It already gets altered the shit out of it when you play it on the radio in a car with shitty car speakers. The radiostation might have altered the sound too through their equipment, coloring it with their DACās sound profile.
Crappy speakers, terrible acoustics, some idiot fucking with an EQā¦
Iād want to know what the source sounds like or at least the master (knowing what headphones were used would maybe push it a little).
Itās kinda the same with screenshots from games.
āWoah! Look how great that game looks!ā
Yeahā¦how would I know how that 4K image is supposed to look with my 1080p monitor?
Same with āsound demosā. Youāre recording the sound of headphones. Is the recording really accurate? And Iām still listening to that sound demo of those headphones/speakers with my headphones/speakers and probably with a different DAC.
Youād need to know how your setup sounds compared to other setups. Track A played and altered with DAC/amp X, headphones X and mic X, the altered again by playing the altered recording of track A with my setup (DAC/amp + speakers/headphones) which change the sound again.
This is not accurate - imo.
wooo finally
so im at a tossup between a switch and a laptop XD
neat so what are you thought on either one? I was sorta thinking the same but ended up getting the switch because I can live without a laptop for now.
Need vs want?
What do you benefit more from?
