kek well that would be it XD
So this laptop has a rotation sensor on it and im not sure how i feel about it lol
i guess thats kinda neat? not even sure of a good usecase for that though.
its not a 2 in 1 or anything like that so i dont know of a good use case either lol. is neat i guess lol
I can just see you struggling to hold up this massive af laptop and rotating it in the air.
Just woke up, gonna make some soup, do some laundry, get some water, and pay the court fine for overdue inspection (rip $170⦠).
That laptop for whatever reasons says fuck you to anything installed on the SD card lol⦠Or maybe it was just ubunut it was mad at. Tried installing it like 5 times and it noped every one.
windows was the same way. AMD drivers would just crash and burn until i updated the bios lol.
All elitebooks do. Makes linux ffffuucking annoying because it will decide to flip the screen around at the slightest movement.
is a setting called ālock orientationā
I was going to type Test but that username sounded more amusing lol
also kinda annoyed the laptop does not have a mux or even a muxless state
means i have to run the dGPU 100% of the time
yep my laptop is the same, it also has Radeon HD graphics and canāt even switch to Intel at all, maybe its just an AMD in most old laptops?
no idea. i cant even see that the iGPU even exsists lol
The i5 has iGPU.
I7 does not. Iirc. Moar cores means less space for things.
yep same in mine, I actually thought the CPU didnāt have an iGPU at all until I took it apart and seen the die for it.
it has a iGPU though
The functionality is on the motherboard though not the chip.
Old laptops are wierd.
This is only a gen after the first laptop i7s where they straight up didnāt have iGPUs, only the i5s did so laptops only kindof did igpus on i7s
Besides. HP made a workstation laptop, who would ever need the shitty Intel GPU when you have the dGPU to do the work lol? laptop logic
