That laptop for whatever reasons says fuck you to anything installed on the SD card lolā€¦ Or maybe it was just ubunut it was mad at. Tried installing it like 5 times and it noped every one.

windows was the same way. AMD drivers would just crash and burn until i updated the bios lol.

yep my laptop is the same, it also has Radeon HD graphics and canā€™t even switch to Intel at all, maybe its just an AMD in most old laptops?

The i5 has iGPU.
I7 does not. Iirc. Moar cores means less space for things.

The functionality is on the motherboard though not the chip.
Old laptops are wierd.
This is only a gen after the first laptop i7s where they straight up didnā€™t have iGPUs, only the i5s did so laptops only kindof did igpus on i7s
Besides. HP made a workstation laptop, who would ever need the shitty Intel GPU when you have the dGPU to do the work lol? laptop logic
