kek what do you mean 253 hours seems legit and at only 63% too XD
gonna see how long i can go. Linux is freaking out and running at 800Mhz so not too far off
damn this laptop and its clockspeed bugs, doubt youāll get anywhere near that though
yep. its at 87 hours now.
yep. Might mess around with kernel args and see what i can do about it on the linux side
That seems way more reasonable but still.
yep should be able to figure something out at least.
Might give this a spin later today
the heresy /s
I havenāt really kept up with Ubuntu since I switched but this release looks pretty good with all the new gnome updates and such.
its been long enough that it deserves a shot. Will probably screw with it in the live CD and thats about it
Rofl.
yep has been a long time and from the looks of it a fair bit has changed since I last used it too, at least most of the issues I was having in Ubuntu would be solved in this release as Unity was unstable for me.
So i was doing some poking around in linux and i got the CPU to finally clock up to full speed again and even past that. Just set scaling, min freq, and pstate to max/performance mode. Is now clocking at 2.8Ghz. Base clock is 2.2Ghz XD
Nice, Thereās always a way to fix stuff in Linux
So Iād take it the bugs are todo with some weird pstates settings by the BIOS.
possibly. More investigation is needed
yep is strange but at least now thereās a workaround so you can get shit done.
Need to figure out how todo it in windows now
yep Windows will be tricky because of the way it handles power management, know this from the ryzen launch but Iām sure thereās tools somewhere todo that.
So ravenfield is amazing lol
Well yes, its battlefield single player with massive player sizes and hilarity the bots what not to be amazing about it.
Getting the information from the client system is terrible.
