yep. documentation does not reveal much so i need to play with it
Thats a shame but its a start at least. also noticed an HP engineer worked on this so maybe its a sign?
maybe. Ive got hope though. Need to figure out the windows equivalent as well but im happy living in linux and gaming on windows
Yep Windows might be tricky as sadly all the power management stuff is locked down and there isn’t information on it but living in Linux and gaming on Windows isn’t so bad. is mostly how I view it already.
I constantly switch between gaming and other stuff so ive been on windows constantly plus ive not put the work in to make linux super stable yet so that hasnt helped to get me onto it either.
yes, that was always my issue with dual-booting Windows, wanting to game but also do other stuff that kept me away from Linux and similarly kept me away from gaming too on the other side.
Neat. found something that also points in the same direction as my issue so im getting a good feeling about this
Nice this is l very promising now, really looks like this may be what you’ve been looking for.
Yep. Got my hopes up now which i dont like XD
yep hate getting my hope up, the anticipation of what might happen is almost unbearable to think about.
Welp RIP Windows, think this maybe the first bluescreen I’ve had in LTSB
hmm strange, looks like the audio controller detached from the VM and caused it to bluescreen.
Ramblings;
Went to a local mall and its a sign of how the local stuff is lol. Of the 50 or so places to have shops, theres maybe 20? If that? Full with an actual business. Also there’s maybe 15 customers here lol. And perhaps double that in employees working.
This is a mall … Even Younkers (bargain clothing chain) closed down
Happier note; one of the places is a game shop and I just picked up Crimson Skies for $4 so thats nice
ah yes. When platinum hits actually mattered.
The worse thing about intermittent problems is dealing with intermittent problems
Waiting for the laptop to fuckup so i can see if my idea is correct on whether or not the issue is what it is
kek yes funny how that works, watch it just not happen now for hours XD
thinking it might be battery related too as it tends to happen when the battery runs low
Interesting so maybe the battery just can’t supply enough voltage for whatever reason and it downclocks? so its time to drain the battery then?
no idea but probably not. Want to test the PCC idea first before i make any further guesses as that might be my issue
