yep techquickie as a great reference for people to get started on tech, have used it a fair few times to introduce people to various tech subjects, in a large way this is the same as techquickie but with news so they already have a target market for these videos.

I could technically give you the youtube link to that video when it goes live very week if you wanted.

Sometimes I feel like I rolled an 18 on luck. One of the crates had an Inspiron 15-3521 with a shattered screen but the laptop itself was in almost perfect condition. They have an expensive as fuck glass touch screen so I was pretty bummed about having to toss this thing away or try to sell the remains as a parts unit. That was until I opened the last crate from this load a couple hours ago, and there in the middle was another identical 3521 with a ripped up keyboard, cracked bottom panel, dead battery, and a 100% intact completely perfect touch screen.

Never tell me the odds.

Woot I beat the next story quest in Warframe.

The following is considered a spoiler for Warframe so Iā€™ve used the spoiler to blur one of the funny moments from the story quest:

The follow is my operator of the warframes I have. You donā€™t unlock the operator till you beat the 2nd Dream It is epic. Anyway this bit is something I could see my operator saying and yes your operator talks, in your face Destiny 2.

edit: off to sleep.

At best I got four hours of sleep. At worst 3.
It has not affected my work speed but yeah Iā€™m tired.

Apparently Walmart in Canada leaked Rage 2 the sequel to idā€™s rage.
We may just see it at e3.

Things I want in Rage 2:
The ability to choose your gender. The main character had no dialogue. It is a shooter rpg. RPGs normally let you choose, with a few exceptions.
Maybe the ability to make your character.
Longer campaign. The original was too short.
More weapons.

Iā€™m curious to learn more about this. At the minimum Iā€™m just hoping for a longer campaign.

Iā€™ll be starting the draft for the Warframe Review today.

On a separate note would anyone be interested in learning the some what long story of why I write fiction?
If you are send me pm. Iā€™ll get your email info from you and send you a self delete email by my proton mail. Partly because the story reveals some stuff about me I donā€™t want the internet to ever know.

Sleep deprived mind:
We should make our own web browser, light, secure, no tracking, looks cool.

Sane me:
Please no. This is a rabbit hole I donā€™t have time for today.

I donā€™t think that is a rabbit hole anyone of us would want to go down, making a web browser is hard work and honestly the best apporch would be to just fork another browser and improve on it in those areas but then you get deminsining returns because you still rely on the original code base.

hardest part of the web browser is functioning javascript that is reasonable. Second hardest part would be themes, extensions, addons, etc. Means you have to have a code base that is robust enough for people to be running their own things with.

Tthe javascript engine alone is enough to give me nightmares, making it from the ground up to the light and efficient and yet still to what its surposed to is a huge task that some of the current browsers stuggle with, the whole ā€œwhose javascript engine is the fastestā€ thing that Microsoft/Goolge were doing a white back prefaces this quite a lot.

that entire PR move was bullshit anyway. They just spent time optimizing very specific parts of the engine that game them the best score and sometimes even cut corners doing it where they avoided the edge case testing bit

Javascript should die in a fire.

figures, and there a thought they were improving the engines to be more robust and efficient but I guess its easier to game the benchmarks than acutally improve stuff, maybe somebody should make their own javascript engine that reviels Google/Microsoftā€™s that is resistant to this, I know Mozilla did a lot of work on this for Firefox Quantum so thereā€™s that but then again this could all be the same in the end.

yes, yes it does.
