ah yeah should be, an easy test would be swapping the card you already have into it and see if it works.
cant. the builtin one is only half sized and i dont have any adapters
RIP oh well, guess youâll have to dig up the information then
oh well that sucks, so both ports are whitelisted but the second one only for specific mobile broadband modules?
pretty much. is probably for the sim slot in the back
oh then that would make sense then that the slot is different, still sucks they have to lock it down though.
oh well. still got my usb adapter though its a bit shit
Well thank fuck those manufacturers are looking out for their customers so they donât alter the devices they bought.
That way itâs just more convenient for RMA to replace broken components instead of having everything soldered onto the motherboard like Apple. If we are denied that convenience - by those whitelists - then the manufacturer shouldnât have it either. They build it, we pay for it. Give us everything or get nothing.
edit: At that point it might as well be some proprietary shit you canât buy anywhere and only the manufacturer has access to.
yep usb adapter usually are but its something.
We do it to protect the consumer. By having no user serviceable parts inside, the consumer no longer has to worry about getting cut while opening the device, nor do they need fret about potentially damaging the product in a manner that doesnât coincide with ânormal useâ.
Yeah⌠thatâs why⌠certainly not to lock down the product in a fashion such that nobody outside of the company can actually properly fix it, therefore giving us a monopoly on the repair/replacement of said product. Furthermore, itâs not for concealing the actually quite shoddy craftsmanship under a quality facade in order to jack up prices whilst simultaneously cutting costs and still somehow building a good image in the eyes of the majority of consumers. Nope⌠canât possibly be any of that.
I get that it makes distinguishing between âwarranty applies - consumer not at faultâ and âretarded consumer fucked it up by not knowing what heâs doingâ one hell of a lot easier.
But if they want people to stop tinkering with their products and make them happily rely on customer support then they should step up their game and deliver instead of finding loop holes and half-assing it or charging ridiculous prices with retarded restrictions (looking at you, Apple, for charging ~$700 for a board replacement and not even doing data backup).
My cousin sent her phone in for hardware repair 3 times and they never fixed it, probably didnât even bother trying (it was a design failure that let the flash shine onto the sensor, a different charge from the factory had that issue fixed and repair people only did software updatesâŚ).
i hate the intel curse of motherboards lol
as soon as something is 2-3 gens out, motherboards for that gen (like Z97/Z87, or older, X58, X79, so on) become less and less common, which increases the prices on the motherboards
personally pins on CPU much better than pins on motherboard for this reason lol⌠CPUs break, instead of motherboards. making the motherboards cheaper.
oh well. just looking for a z87/z97 board to test that LGA 1150 ES in and itâs minimum $100 for a non crap one. and like $150-250 for the nicer ones.
itâs not like z87 or z97 make sense to buy for gaming now that ryzen exists lolâŚ
those are just fun to drive around with lol.
this is really fast too
dad wanted to race the old mower and I literally did a fucking wheelie
A FUCKING LAWNMOWER WHEELIE
Im hoping he uploads the video soon
lol. you should have seen some of the lawn mower races we had around my old town. people would use old car engines to power the things XD
