MS Access is nice but limited. Kinda too much “pure office”.
Using it for a small movie rental place is okay but lacks features (can’t test some of those, like if it works with a barcode scanner).
When Canadians tell me Vancouver, BC is the real Vancouver.
The city predates your country’s independence and the founding of your province, bruh.

That totally counts. I don’t care that the turbo only applies to 2 cores, that’s a fucking result.
I got my phone wallpaper and lockscreen wallpaper squared away

Windows is installed along with most of the software I use, I think.
For those who have an 8 core Ryzen CPU what are your temps like. I’m using that IC graphite thermal pad and a NH-D15 and I want to be sure that my temp are inline with what’s expected. At stock it idles at around 36-40C and under load in both OCCT and AIDA 64 it hits 60C. It just feels weird not using thermal paste.
My 1700 gets more or less the same as yours. It idles at around 40C and max 65C underload with a D15
clocks?
3.8GHz at 1.35V
Ok so about that same as mine stock. Thank you, using this graphite pad instead of thermal paste just feels really weird. It’s got me a little paranoid.
even if you go the “cheap” route and get an x58 xeon, x58 still is dead. and yet. people still want them. to use as a daily.
collection reasons i can get but not using them as daily rigs at this point lol when ryzen exists
i was going to comment but then i remembered all my systems just have Wraith coolers lol.
in any case temps are noice so. just maybe keep an eye on them in a few months, i have no idea how long thermal pads last compared to thermal paste
Well. My sleep is more or less reset lol. Stayed up 26 hours, took a 4 hour nap until 7pm yesterday, then went to bed at 11pm and got up at 3am
I’m not sure how to feel about this but oh well lol
How’s everyone else doing?
Mostly just slightly annoyed at how shit web forms are now. Spent 30 minutes filling one in and it failed to submit and now won’t redirect to any page because it is refusing to accept the cookies
I’d just like to say FUCK YOU Microsoft for putting the Codelens feature behind a $500 paywall in Visual Studio.
Per year and with an extra paid option to remove ads?
it’s $540 per year
