yeah that would be interesting, i’d be up for that. sort of like an LTT Podcast where they just shoot the shit for an hour or so talking about LMG and whatever else is going on.

Traveling in WoW can be a pain in the ass when you’re not a mage (teleport to certain spots) -_-

I mean WoW is a pain in the ass in general but sure, lol

In other news hi all
Got like … 5? Ish? Hours of sleep because I can’t get my brain to stfu about things, lol. I think its because Quakecon is coming up or something.
Speaking of. I may or may not be bringing the mod system along lol rip. Because it is much easier to just have all the parts in boxes separate, than it is to have a built PC for flying purposes. That said. My sisters rig for when at QC which is MATX build should fit in the suitcase I’m bringing so that is a plus. should
Otherwise hows everyone doing?

Warcraft, not Warships :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, the mmo that only exists because its owned by a company that charges people so much per month that even if the player base dwindled to less that 20,000 they could still run the servers easily rofl

And yet, the game isn’t even that good :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s either a monthly fee or Freemium BS. And tbh, I rather have the monthly fee.

And still better than the shit Ubisoft, EA, etc are pulling with season passes, a gazillion of micro-transactions and 50 different editions per game (and none of them is really complete).

I mean MMOs are shit in general, so there’s also that lol
I can only tolerate SW:TOR for about 5 hours and then I realize how shit it is again, and they definitely arent the first MMO"RPG" to be done and won’t be the last
The only good MMO that ive played is Guild wars but it only half counts as its basically an RPG that happens to also have MMO lol

As a person who has played a wide gambit of MMOs… yes most of them are. There a few that aren’t.

The idea of them? No.
How they’re done? Yes.

They all have the element of grinding in them. In moderation it’s okay, but when they’re overdone it sucks ass and kills the fun.
But without the grind they’re just your average RPG and end after x amount of hours.

They used to not be that shit but modern MMORPGs (and usually MMOs in general) unless they arent a big company, the whole point is to milk every last dollar from you lol so.

WoW, SWTOR, Neverwinter etc are all pretty terrible grinds and if you spend money they arent as bad of grinds which is annoying. Also some are super pay to win, lol.

There are a few exceptions, I.e. guild wars. But still.
Then again ive never understood the online RPG thing really so. Why play it online if having offline usually is so much better? looks at Elder Scrolls series
Besides theres more amusing games to play with friends like Ratz Instagib and such.
Or old school RPGs that have multiplayer, like Neverwinter Nights which did online RPGs well lol.
