But why would anyone go to/live in Canada then lol
Expensive beer, expensive gas… Uh. Yeah. That about does it for me
No clue if foods more expensive but maybe?
And eww. ARPG.

Interesting. Though, I dont know if I’d ever try any normal beer radlers. Shandies are awesome summer beers (light and fruity) but with normal beer… Yeah not so sure on that lol.
Still wish I could get some of the really awesome wheat beer (and for that matter normal German/austrian beer) here (and not have it be skunky from shipping) but Oh well.
I have found a couple that are alright though.
The one from the photo (Stiegl Grapefruit Radler) is made with Stiegl Goldbräu. Says “full beer” on their website, but I’m no expert on beers, so…no idea what that means.
https://www.stiegl.at/en/beers/classic-beers/stiegl-goldbraeu
Its a traditional lager; I.e. like all the other usual German/Austrian golden beers. Reviews have it at a 3.4 or so of 5, whereas cheap beers like Budweiser and such are 2.5 or 2.0.
So not bad. The grapefruit one is fairly popular Apperently.
And the reason why its exported is it supposedly is an American owned brewery despite being in Austria. Er, the distribution is american. Or some weird thing.
What would be a 4+ beer?
Usually those are high end craft beers (though not always, usually they are.) Like really good stout beers, or dark lagers, IPAs, etc made by well known or small breweries typically that focus on making really good beers.
That said; on untappd its a collection of everyone who uses the app that has tried that beer averaged together, so if only like 100 people have tried it that all like it a lot that will skew the results somewhat lol.
But for a lot of beers theres easily 3000+ ratings of them so its a pretty fair assesment lf what it is like flavor and everything wise.
And the single worst beer?
Depends on your tastes lol.
That goes for the best ones too then, right?
Generally yep.
For example I hate most IPAs, because bitter hops is trash to me (why not just eat the freaking hops at that point imo lol, tastes the same) but a good chunk of the top 100 beers on the untappd are IPAs. Moreso than other types of beer.
So I’ll give some beers a 1 because they are IPAs, might be a “really good one” but I dont care its still bitter to the point of being unenjoyable. I have had a few good IPAs but still. Other people are similar with other types of beer.
Space Project writing report:
Chapter 1 is done. By the end of it the reader understands the main character is in a very serious terrible situation.
Chapter 2 will pick up on the revelation
The story will keep having elements of horror throughout but not the new age of slasher horror more like Twilight Zone horror suspense.
Sam’s Wasteland Within
I think I just hate writing this all together now. I’m going to attempt to start this chapter over to see if I can fix that or not. I’m going to find a way for me to finish this story.
Those are the hipster beers, right?
The more local and harder to get, the better.
That’s exactly what IPAs are lul
Project Space report:
Chapter 2 is going well. Gives a good sense of the current state of the character. There is a real chance there will be zero dialog in this chapter.
Sam’s Wasteland Within
I’m going to start the chapter over but not till Saturday when I will have time to sit down and work it out.
IPAs are what happens to beer when it’s brewed incorrectly. They just double-triple-quadruple hop it up and sell it as “Local Brewmaster’s Special”.
The former self-taught archeologist specializing in wrestling-artifacts who decided to become a brewing techno-nun and welding his own brewing equipment in cassette futurism style?
I think that’s English? Lol.
But IPAs are what happen when its like
shit we have way too much hops
fuck it, dump it all in this batch what could go wrong?
I don’t mind an IPA every now and then, but that’s because out here in the sticks it’s difficult to find shops that sell decent beer, and when they do sell any craft beer, it’s usually like 1 or 2 different IPAs. Really tough to find any porter/stout for whatever reason, unless you want Guinness which is a sorry excuse for a stout.
In other news. Now that I can actually sort of use a laptop at work if I want to (to play games and whatever when there’s down time) I was browsing around and theres a Gigabyte laptop, brand new that is $800 with a 1060, 6700HQ, 500GB SSD+1TB HDD, 16gbram, and a “3k” screen (like 2880x1560 or some strange thing between 1440 and 4k that’s also 16:9.)
… I probably won’t buy it but that is a really good price for all that.
Yeah. Unless in Ireland, guinness isn’t very good. Still better than most generic beer but that’s not saying much lol.
The only IPA I like is a black IPA which is a stout, but with a bit more hops. Which isnt too bad.
