$4,500 JUST FOR THE SERVO!
Can’t imagine how much the high-end pedals, wheels, and other accessories cost…

Can easily hit $15k for a high-end sim setup. Makes the $800 one I have planned seem like child’s play

when your racing sim setup costs more than your actual car for that real authentic experience lol

Hey that doesn’t cost more (but it’s close to the same amount… lol)

The racing sim guys are absolutely nuts…

To be fair most of the high end stuff is for people who do racing as a job

Costs more and will never be as much fun as this:

Skywind HYPE

Insane weather (70+ mph winds+ rain for 3 days) means there might be flooding at my work which is right on the edge of the lake… Hmmm. For now will continue on as usual and then go from there. Might get interesting though.
Figures.

Neat. The local news station is here by my work filming and such. Might take a video too cuz why not lol. Have a bit of time before work so why not.
Speaking of work seems to be open despite the weather… So there’s that lol.

Chapter 7 is going well. Dealing with the revelation of the character now has evidence of not only is she never getting home, she has no idea as to where she is in space. Yeah intense stuff.

Got only to episode 5 (or 6, depending on if you’re counting the pilot as 2 episodes) of Twin Peaks.
Seems as if I’ve forgotten quite a bit. There have already been scenes I thought were much later in the show.
But even after almost 30 years since its first broadcast and rewatching it, it has hold up damn good.
Also makes me wish I’d live in a place like Twin peaks. Small town, not a lot people, no big technology (yet, those were the 90s), slow pace but not missing out on stuff. I could do without the crime stuff, though…and the French Canadians.

The pacing for the first season is so good.

Unfortunately I have to spoil myself a little as the episodes - surprise, surprise - are not in numerical order. So I have to skip through each episode and read a few sentences of an episode summary online to figure out if “T01-1” really is the first title of a disc :pensive:

I know that pain.

Plus side: work stayed open so yay moneys
Down side: work was the only restaurant in the canal park area that was able to stay open so a normally dead Wednesday turned to a FUCKING BUSY day lol. Though I was able to mostly handle it so meh.

Now tired. Lol. But I haz day off now yay.

Will find video of weather.
Some random thing. Normally that walkway… Is well, a walkway lol. Almost never has waves over it.

I think I found a naming layout that I’m happy with for Twin Peaks.
As the Pilot can be viewed as a single episode or as an introduction to the series with episode 2 actually being episode 1, it just calls for confusion. Count the episodes for the whole show or per season, count the pilot as an episode or not.

This is my solution:

btw, I do not recommend the alternative version of the pilot episode and am glad David Lynch chose the other one. It just adds stuff at the very end that doesn’t make sense so early on or in general gives the show a start that doesn’t do it justice.
