They’re also not really the kind of shoes for rainy weather. Canvas, holes near the sole. One puddle and your socks are wet.
Got my boots ~6 years ago for ~40€ on sale. I’d really like a pair like Redwings 1412 but they’re expensive (they’ve been posted on r/buyitforlife a couple of times with people wearing them daily for years as workboots and only ever cleaned/oiled them, then replacing when the sole is worn out).
Good boots are expensive… I spent over $150 last year on mine

I walk frontfooted so i wear through my soles VERY quickly. A pair of shoes cant last me a year

Mine are usually on the cheaper side but I wear them until others tell me to throw them out xD Had my Gravis for 10+ years and cost me 25€ (on sale from 125€). They’re sneakers, so not really tough but they held up well. Same with my old thicc grey Vans. Only the sole showed signs of wear (actually walked a hole into them).
Mine usually last around 6-8 months but its usually the heel that goes first, then the sides start to tear apart but when the front goes is when I usually decide to get a new pair.

Mostly fine but haven’t had a great day, I’m feeling a little sick and chipped the bottom half off one of my front teeth which isn’t great, have to go to the dentist on Wednesday which I’m not looking forward to.

After seeing the 2nd episode of new Doctor Who…
So the lore is getting deeper… got it. So the Doctor doesn’t know something about herself… She gets called the timeless child. What does that mean? Is it possible she isn’t a time lord? No… cause time lords regenerate. Unless there is another race that can regenerate and has two hearts? Is this going to be answered in the show. I hope so. Don’t tease me like that. This is going to make me wonder. Right now I’m wondering the hell does it mean that the Doctor is a timeless child? also I like that the show isn’t using the classic villains. New inside for the TARDIS is neat. It was good episode. Yeah I like how the show is going so far.
