… This came about as creative differences. The 2nd season of Luke Cage was entertaining but it was a bit uneven.
Thoughts:
Netflix is paying Disney to make these shows. I don’t know how much they cost Netflix. It is starting to look like Netflix is going to be the one that cancels out the Marvel shows due to rising cost and creative differences. It is possible that Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Punisher don’t ever get canceled & just have a normal run like 5 or 6 seasons. Don’t expect any new Marvel Shows on Netflix though.

Project Space Writing Report:
Chapter 8 is still being worked on. Since I wrote a page to replace a page, I may or may not finish writing the chapter today.
I’ve only just woke up and it started snowing briefly for around 10 minutes which is strange becasue it seemed very localized and we are not even forecast for snow yet.
So I decided to not be lazy for once and finally tide up this properly which pretty much meant moving most of it to the table above and sorting it out, its still kinda messy but on the plus side I can actually get into my room and now know where all my tools and stuff are so I can get to them easily without searching for half an hour
Going pretty well lol.
Catching up on some tech/gaming YouTube videos and such, possibly playing/streaming later as well.
Oh and also making bacon for breakfast ish. I know its 2pm nut meh I just got up lul
Unrelated; some poor user of the AMD community just messaged me (I say poor user because Jive forum software is shit lol) about some hardware issue that they were having xD

I almost forgot I also got invited to a closed… I think Alpha still at this point, version of a game so that is neat. Though I missed the test servers (is multiplayer game) because work so meh but still.

ye you have to give Linus credit for sticking with this project because PCIe passthrough always has you wanting to pull your own hair out at the best of times and he’s doing it on an insane scale that I don’t believe many would’ve tried before and is really is pushing the limits of the hardware, although I do have a suspicion some of his issues may be due to instability with using the ACS patch.

So due to the unique way in which our kettle works and quite possibly carelessness on my part I somehow managed to burn my foot when making a cup of tea and it hurts a lot
Well standing on the stove is the best way to find out if its hot enough. but really though what happened is that we have one of those automatic kettles and I forgot to check if it had any water inside so when it didn’t dispense I went to fill it and it dispersed boiling hot water all over my foot.
Bought the Legend of Drizzt 25th Anniversary collections. Well, volumes I - III anyway.
Very partial to that series. I know to some it reads like a D&D campaign. One particularly negative review said “I could practically hear the dice rolling as I was reading…” – This is why I love these stories. It brings back so many fond memories of not only childhood but adulthood.
This was my The Lord of the Rings. It seems to me, in order to be a successful Sci-Fi or Fantasy writer, you had to have fallen ill and read The Lord of the Rings novels in your bed. Well, I didn’t. Instead I read The Icewind Dale Trilogy and The Dark Elf Trilogy. Pair this with my love of EverQuest, Diablo II, and Dungeons and Dragons (especially The Forgotten Realms), and you have, mostly, what I am today.
Anyway. Very excited. Two and three came in today. The first volume is still on its way (The Dark Elf Trilogy).
Going to start with books 4 and 5, read 1 - 3 as flashbacks, and then continue through 6 - 10.
I hope this wasn’t oversharing, but not too many folks (online) know this about me One person in L1 asked “Why the Icewind Dale Trilogy?” in a DM and I answered with a tl;dr version of this.
We really should get a game going. Would be a lot of fun, I think.
