Project Space Writing Report:
Chapter 8 is going well. Still covering details. This chapter really is kinda of an info dump on the main character,
Things I gotta figure out:
Measurement of time and what is called where she is.
History of the world she is on
Now just cause I gotta figure that out doesn’t mean I’ll spend pages and pages explaining all of that. I do need to know it though.
There is also the matter of what the Main Character will do in Chapter 10 or rather the opportunity of different paths she is presented with. Her choice will affect how the rest of the story will be written and how it ends.
I did say I had an idea as to how the story ended but if I believe the character would take a different path which would lead to a different end, then I’ll follow that path.
Lucky the pain has died down quite a bit and doesn’t hurt so much now, I still have a blisters but I ran to the bath and put it under cold water straightaway which probably helped it not to spread as much.
Mini Doctor Who Episode 3 Review: [Let’s face it that’s what I did the last two times.]
I was ultra worried on this episode. Why? Cause it is about an extremely important historical event that relates to discrimination. Fortunately it was actually a very serious episode of Doctor Who. There might be some people who will scream Doctor Who has turned political… No I don’t see it that way. Discrimination is a serious subject and facing it just cause you are a little different is no fun. The episode is tense to watch. I;m not sure if if I should say it was a good episode. I’ll go with it is important. Next episode looks to be horror. Yeah I’m all for that bring on the horror.
Will do. Fantasy Noir genre (I guess? Lol). Certain songs and even bands always have me playing movies and combat reels in my head. I’ve seen it as live action, anime, western cartoons, everything lol. I’ve envisioned a graphic novel series, novels, and an MMO lol.
I think I’ve been standing at the window for probably half an hour to figure out (with 77km/h wind bursts and trees making lots of noise) if he noise I was hearing was some puppy whining or some fucktards car alarm in the distance. The noise stopped so my best guess is that it was some distorted car alarm as the noise was too continuous, no variation other than due to the wind altering the sound waves.
Also, no idea what a puppy would do there at that time of the day in that kind of weather (severe weather alert, nobody who’s still outside is just going for a stroll). And an abandoned puppy also seems kinda unlikely as someone would’ve noticed it during the day and it wandering there (patch of dirt next to some lawn between apartment buildings) also makes no sense.
But figuring out if it’s a whining puppy or just some annoying car alarm drove me crazy. Not gonna let an animal in need stay outside.
Also, I didn’t rely on sound alone. I shone a flashlight down and there was nothing to see except dirt, some leaves and grass. It’s still gonna keep me awake for a while, not knowing 100% if it was a puppy…
I’m very grateful I’ve been writing consistently every day since September. From the start it has been like the main character is writing it, even if it is in third person past tense.
It is going to sound weird but failing at rewriting Sam’s Wasteland Within lead to this story. Initially started as a practice story to regain my confidence. I came to realize I was and am burnt out on trying to rewrite Sam’s Wasteland Within. So I decided to completely dedicate myself to Project Space. I have not regretted that decision.
I honestly don’t have a deadline for finishing the first draft. I’m taking my time writing one page a day. It has been a great journey so far.
yeah challenge maps and that are 100% focused on puzzles to solve would be great especially if they start going really deep into the mechanics of the game and make you have to think about it.
