The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

that said some clone keyboards or keyboards that don’t have much case to them can get very annoyingly loud. one of my redragon keyboards with Outemou blues was crazy loud because there was no real case on it only a metal backplate.

My keyboard is from WASD so maybe it’s just because it’s a high quality keyboard that I don’t find it loud.

^this
Gonna be crazy loud when the chassis is made of thin plastic with lots of room for the sound to act like the body of a guitar. But that’s to be expected from most manufacturers. Cheap bling bling RGB with a big fat “G4M3R” on the box but saving production cost where ever possible (resulting in a cheap feeling product).

i mean yours (more or less)

redragon lol

most cheaper companies do similar with the cases. they are well built (mostly) but they certainly dont help the acoustics :stuck_out_tongue:

One definitely looks sturdier

Btw while people are here I’ll ask again does anyone have an amp recommendation for my audio setup?

Coughs

I would unearth it but meh?

Also on top of it is the majority of a Space Invader switch keyboard which is second only to the Model F itself in terms of clicky switch lol.

And a USB DAC to get audio from my desktop to amp

linear switches, it really doesnt matter much
clicky though ooohh god yes it does lol.
tactile, is whatever.

in any case, the best… cheapish tactile keyboard is buying an Apple Extended II and buying the $25 adapter for it, which usually ends up being $50-80 total.
all other good tactiles are custom builds (or expensive as hell) so probably not something worth looking at lol.
cheapest decent keyboards are linear or clicky.

Or go through this playlist.

i feel sad for you, getting that … thing… of a DAC lol
if you want really good audio … you could build your own if you care enough to, on of my family members has done so a number of times (he is into the … high end stuff, but builds his own kit … i guess if he gets bored? lol).
or there’s a number of other things off the shelf. I havent delved into audio lately since I’m basically set for the foreseeable future but still.
or look at what @TheDiddilyHorror posted cuz is gud list

I’m lazy

attempting%20to%20give%20a%20damn

audio and lazy don’t often go together lol
but there is levels of lazy … meh
building speakers is easy, dac/amps less so.
but kindof rambling now. yeah

I just want to plug things in and not have constant static due to a shitty amp

So…let someone else do the research for you to figure out what’s best for YOUR situation?
Just going for the first recommendation rarely gets you what’s best according to your own priorities (price, quality, looks, features, etc).

No, I just use for recommendations to narrow down the search area, then look for something within what I want assuming I find something that fits.
