The link to the list I posted is far from complete (the videos cover much more) but it lists amps and even amp/dac combos for different prices (increasing from top to bottom, neat feature, right?) and a short description of the things it can do.
Things to consider:
budget?
headphones or speakers (and how much power to they need)?
Well today might be interesting to be at work lol, the Christmas parade is apparently right next to it lol. And thatâs today⌠And then the Christmas light show thing Bentleyville farther down the road opens tomorrow⌠K. It might be busy, might not be I guess Iâll find out lol.
YAY day off⌠Wait SHIT day off. Said parade is going to cut off the roads to the brewery so yeah not needed.
On the plus side I already have 3 days of work done. Down side I only have 1 more day after today to work so.
Sunset Overdrive is out on Steam⌠for $20⌠Yeah I bought it. Iâm still learning how to play it ⌠48 minutes into it. Graphically looks pretty good. Most important tip: Move to live⌠stay still you die. The game scratches a weird middle ground of Saints Row 4 mixed with Jet Set Grind mixed with B Level Movie monsters. I didnât know that existed yet that is the best way I can describe the game. I dig it.
What about Path of Exile? I noped out of that after 20 minutes.
Sunset Overdrive always looked very interesting to me but never having an XBone I couldnât play it. Insomniac made some of my favoruite PlayStation games at the time and I was really bummed that this never came to the PlayStation 4. The the crazy outlandish style and not taking itself too seriously was very appealing with what looked like a very fun and gameplay focused game to play. This is definitely going on my wishlist of games I want to get soon.
Gamers Nexus has the full Analysis of the RTX 2080 Ti failures.
TL:DR it wasnât a thermal issue with the cards or operating systems specific as they were tested on both Linux and Windows and is likely an silcone or board defect with the cards causing the artifacts, also with RMA numbers being reported as normal the failure rates of the cards were likely blown a little out of proportion but yet is still very concerning for something this expensive which shouldnât have passed QC and got to comsuners anyway.
Strange but true this game had multiplayer on the xbox one but the pc doesnât have it⌠still plenty fun. Maybe theyâll patch it in later I donât know. The game is also meta and occasional breaks the fourth wall.
One thing is you have to make sure to exclude the game from any virus protector otherwise it wonât launch⌠okay but meh.
I think I remember there beign a big thing about the multiplayer in this game very heavily leverging Microsofts Xbox live cloud platform and this is probably why we donât have multiplayer as they couldnât just port it over? I really hope they do add it though because multiplayer in this game could be really fun. Also it being meta and out there is one the things that makes it look so fun to me its like theres a lot of room to play with what the game has there.
I wonder what its doing to be flagged by this? I only use Windows Defender anyway which Iâm fairly certain wonât flag this.
Honestly donât know it shouldnât.
I have the free version of bitdefender [cause it is really good and meets my standards.]. I had to exclude it to get it to launch. Saw on the discussion threads it was the same for many virus protection software. You might be okay with Windows defender.
Given all the issues this has had with the beta for the game and the launcher and just how some of the gameplay elements work and the whole design of the game I donât plan on getting it for a little while yet. not saying I wonât ever but at this time the game just seems like a mess waiting to happen and can only hope they fix it down the line.
randomly got Space Hulk Enhanced Edition for free apperently⌠FINALLY its a working game. also has some minor fixes which are nice. and the FPS is much better. also moar weapons lol
for example the Sun Gun.
