@Dje4321 didnāt you mod an HP charger a while ago? I forgot what the reason for that was. Was it cause it would only charge with HP laptops (kinda of a DRM thing)?
ye the charger had DRM but the circuity was cut out and soldered in-line to another power brick so it could be used to charge the laptop instead.

So, a different charger (like a no-name,but same V and A) wouldāve worked too? Or is there some vice versa stuff that would prevent the laptop from charging with a non-HP charger?
ye exactly, both the charger and the laptop do some sort of hand-shake to authenticate that its an HP charger and only then will it let you charge with it.

Thatās some bullshit practice right there.
I mean, itās common practice that companies donāt want their customers to do with their products what they want (had to jump through some - rather easy but still - hoops to get my HDDs to work without the enclosure), but some companies seem to really throw some big rocks in their way to get people to buy instead of fixing it.

Yes.
Charger had DRM and wouldnt let you use a different charger even if everything was the same (Voltage, Amps, etc)

Grrā¦ Had to stay an extra hour today because co-workers couldnāt just give me the things early but rather wait until close and slam all of the everything at once. ā¦ Same people who I was able to finish with in 40 mins last week. Disappointed.
Oh well. I was done before midnight so could get food/beer before things closed soā¦ K.
In other news I may or may not be getting a house soon. I guess it depends on a lot of things and stuff and I still need a new car but still

well couldnt sleep much (got likeā¦ 3ishā¦ maybe) hours of sleep so i guess im up again for the rest of the day. or at least until im done with the various meals today that is. had some more of my Mac Baren 7 seas to start the day/night/whatever and at least iām more relaxed now after that. still need coffee thoughā¦

ReShade 4.0 is out soā¦
Iām playing with it. The creator rebuilt the compiler from the ground up.

Granted Iāll be tweaking this ReShade I made.
How is 4.0? The arrows to tweak stuff are nice. You could type the number you want but the arrows make things a little more intuitive. I like it so far.

So I went to the dentist today to get two of my teeth out and me me not having much sleep before got back home and crashed for a couple of hours and woke up with the antiseptic wore off with really bad pain and blood dripping everywhere and were down to the last of our pain killers and not sure I can get anymore until tomorrow, whats worse though, naturally I canāt really eat anything like this so everyone else ordered take out and I canāt have any

Shortest but significantly least convenient. 4 lights and a metered onramp which undoubtedly are not taken into account for the estimated travel time. Meanwhile getting on I-5 just means getting through 2 lights and the onramp is literally another highway, so youāre going 60MPH before even getting to the onramp.
Also lol 405 on a holiday. I bet they closed 2 lanes for āconstructionā just out of spite.
yes but google maps doesnt take that into account. Thats something you learn after years of experience of living in a city.
