My Chromebook finally died.

Nope. Iâve had it for four years. It was running Galluim.
When I went to power it just now, pop black screen. I did every troubleshooting I could. Itâs dead. Complete and absolute.
wouldâve expected it to last longer than that but had a pretty good run i guess. What you gonna do now? replace or maybe find a way to fix it, did you have any data on it you need to retrieve?
Nah no data on it.
As much as Iâd like to replace it, not going to happen right now. I planned to replace it in three years with an xps 13 with Debian. Now though no it is going to wait.
Fix⌠Nope this is beyond fix.
Iâll be alright. Maybe there will be a deal on Friday or Monday. Iâll keep an eye out.

Hopefully today wonât be so annoying at work⌠Stayed an extra 1.5 for no good reason rip. Now tired. But itâs snowing and the day before Thanksgiving so thatâs a thing.
Games are already on sale as well, though amusingly I happen to have a $50 gift card on Amazon⌠And no idea what to spend that on. I have already tried the cheap mechanical keyboards on Amazon and not sure what I would even want from there otherwise

It seems weâre going hunting in the morning then having some dry ass turkey and some decent other food in the afternoon. I assume itâs dry because itâs always super dry⌠I honestly donât know how they can make it so bad every year⌠do they enjoy it that way or something?

Maybe to get one that i need to defrost but for actually cooking it. Not really. Maybe a day or two worth of prep. Hard part is getting enough days off to cook it XD

Itâs only at my grandmaâs house, though I think itâs my uncle who cooks it. My parents make good turkey, but my dadâs side of the family makes the best because deep fried.
Also explains why my grandma doesnât like white meat poultry because; âItâs dry and flavorlessâ well thatâs because you always cook it to shit you senile old ladyâŚ
time off work, two days to prep. bird be getting more attention than your own family XD

So me being a genius playing around with ACL controls on my switch have managed to lock myself out of my own subnet and canât route anything to a 10.0.1.0/24 address, this means I canât access my router to open new connections to the internet or more importantly my switch to revert the changes back again because it also is on the same subnet XD
my options right now are either change the subnet on my router to something different or reboot the switch to flush the changes but canât really do that right now because its being used and will bring everything down for at least 30 seconds.
