I went to this place in Philly during happy hour one day. Was fantastic.
Got pretty drunk and full off of $12 (they had this bock that was like 8% abv and they gave you like .75 Liters of it at a time for $4. Excellent deal for a bar.)

lol i mean didn’t they change the definition of the kilogram? so this new kilogram is actually still just 1 kilogram of the older kilogram but in reality is still just 1 kilogram?

They changed a few things around to allow it to become a constant. Before it was a weight in a vault in france but the problem is that the weight didnt stay perfectly constant. It managed to drift by a very small percentage
Also the weight is 129 years old

Hooly fuck today was strange at work lol. Busy for 2 hours. Then completely dead. Then literally 30 mins until close it gets SLAMMED. I am only just getting done at 1230 and we close the kitchen at 11. GG.

yeah joking aside having it use planks constant is much better than having a rely on an arbitrary weight of a very old object which very well could’ve been damaged and changed over time. that thing has been though a lot though. iirc during WWII no body went anywhere near that thing out of fear of losing it.

Also microsoft is doing really well at keeping their distance from mojang. They pushed their service onto it and just backed off. Its probably the only studio they own that hasnt died under their weight XD

yeah new crafting has me a little excited to see what they’ll do with it. it is kind of one area that needed to be improved. things like the banner and cartographers table just make a lot of sense given how complex making stuff like banners can be and having to remember all the items needed for that and could make things far more interesting. also gonna have some fun with that bell though just think of what redstone contraptions you could make with alarms and notifications and stuff.
yea which is great. I’d like to think that there was some pushback by Mojang with Microsoft involving Minecraft to keep it on track and going the way it always has been and I think and hope Microsoft knows that they have a good thing here and trying to push it where it and the fans doesn’t want to go would be far worse for them. its like no body knows Minecraft like Mojang and telling them what to do and how it should be can only go one way.
Mining/caving still sucks lol. Hopefully they fix that here pretty soon.
Im sure there was a stipulation that mojang maintains control over the gameplay in the contract though we will probably never know for sure.

Ye this is the one thing in Minecraft that is way overduee was hoping they’d have got something by now. maybe though this update sets the ground work for that with the new crafting and everything? we can only hope.
ye would make sense I’d be kind of surprised if there wasn’t in some way. I’m sure the deal would’ve went differently if this wasn’t the case.

Yep. My biggest complaint about the elitebook track point is that even at max sensitivity its not fast enough (in linux anyway)

So a project ive been tracking that lets you play daggerfall on modern PCs is getting really good progress. Its getting to the point of being nearly on par with the original.

Yes DOSBOX has been around for awhile. That’s how I ran Daggerfall a few years ago.
