The free game from your wishlist thing that GoG did was apparently only for Telltale games. I got Tales from Monkey Island, others have reported getting that Batman game, The Walking Dead, etc.
I managed to a get a thinkpad nub to fit onto the elitebook one. Had to modify it a bit but works really well

Looks like Amazon is doing this “shipping without packaging” thing again. Pretty pissed cause they shipped my keyboard like that. Not only does everyone know what it is but the packaging of the keyboard itself does not add much protection. So I’ll just send it back as soon as it arrives and demand the replacement being shipped with proper packaging.
Fuck Amazon’s packaging department, they’re a bunch of retards and were the cause for many damaged books, CDs, Blurays, etc cause they weren’t sufficiently packaged.

I still don’t get those 3:2 and 5:4 (and even 16:10) aspect ratios. Are they really useful for some applications?
Gonna continue getting the album covers for my audio drama collection and add them in Foobar. Not the most interesting work but I like tagging my media properly.
Keyboard came without shipping packaging. Got dropped on the corners a bunch of times during shipping and the rain soaked some of the cardboard box. Replacement should arrive on Thursday. Annoying but Amazon handled it without any trouble.

Are great for watching movies and such. Minimal black bars when viewing ultrawide movies and basically same as usual for normal content.
Also usually has a bit more screen real estate than a similar 16:9 ratio screen, which can be nice.
Otherwise I have no particular preference really.
Also lol at Amazon ruining yet more product.

How so? 3:2 is narrower than 16:9, so there should be more black bar area.
You mean stuff being actually on screen, rather than screen estate by pixel? (such as most websites such as forums are still better on narrower screens as they don’t waste so much “empty” space on the sides)
It’s just a stupid decision to add this option (and in my case AFTER I ordered it without the option even displayed!). Less protection = more damage during shipping. And postal services already have a bad reputation in regards to treating the packages with caution. This is even worse than insufficient packaging material cause now they don’t even try. And it’s easier for assholes to steal the content and deliver an empty product box. sarcasticclapping.gif

so on the same 24" panel except for the aspectratio, the 16:10 would have a few more pixels/ bit more real estate to use

standard tv show on the 3000x2000 leaves a bit of black bars but meh. (is Vikings)
i was thinking of the old 5:4 not ultrawide though minor derp. older content is nice on 16:10.

16:10 are nice for old 4:3 shows when stretched to 16:10 cause it doesn’t really look bad - imo.
Upon closer comparison, 3:2 doesn’t look so bad. I was under the impression that it is closer to 4:3.

Project Space Writing Report:
Chapter 12 is going well. I did realize I need to add some new chapters before Chapter 11. Time jumping is tricky stuff. I realized I had done it right after a pervious one. Why is this a bad thing. Well it’s like suddenly out of nowhere or all hell breaks loose. Now I will write these chapters when I type up the story. I made a handwritten note to remind me at the start of Chapter 11. Now this writing is not being done to pad out the story. It is being done to establish things and allow for smother transitions.

Made… An attempt at replicating at least some of the flavors in a German market sausage+kraut meal. Sadly. Didn’t have many veggies other than red pepper and onions (which I caramelized and then threw the German sausage and kraut on). Still good though .

Yeah. Only things around are sweet potatoes (terrible)… I probably should’ve bought more veggies when I just got the above things to make this but didn’t know we were out of them all so rip.
In any case still is decent.
Not bad with just those ingredients, though.
