The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

I mean. Sauerkraut is pretty good by itself and the other stuff makes it even better so.
Potatoes would have been awesome though.

I applied for the Public Relations Manager for America position at CD Projekt Red. It’s a long shot but maybe I’ll get a nibble out of it. I wrote a long letter on why they should. Who knows what may come from it.

Uhm…had HWMonitor open and was wondering why my HDD temps were a bit higher than usual (when CPU and GPU were just idling, no load at all). Took the front and dust filter off, slightly touched the bottom fan by accident with it and suddenly this happens…

Debating if I should contact NZXT or say fuck it and cash out for 3 new fans.

In the meantime I have a Corsair SP fan as a replacement (man, that little fucker is loud…not staying in there for long).

reminds me when i did the same to the fan on my D15 not too long ago. Still might be worth contacting them though, the worse that could happen is they say no.

Yeah. I bought the case little over a year ago. Opened a ticket and asked if this is covered by the warranty or if I need to buy a new one.
But the Corsair fan seriously needs to go. How have I never noticed this in my old case? Until I get a new one I definitely need to put a resistor on it (good thing they shipped with one and I should have one from Noctua too somewhere).

HA! No wonder this little shit is so loud: it’s the old SP Performance running at 2350rpm!

Noctua wouldn’t be an issue as they are local to me.

Took 4 solid hours of hammering but i managed to get my fender back into shape

It used to be alot worse lol. Could barely open the passenger door

I don’t dare imagine it :worried:

Writing all my passwords down in one of my new notebooks. Sifting through every account and making sure the passwords are still valid is a royal pain in the ass.

Replacement keyboard that Amazon sent was missing the shipping packaging too. Box wasn’t that beat up so I opened it and a few of the keycaps were loose and falling around in the plastic bag. Takes quite a bit of pulling to get them off, so I don’t know how hard the keyboard has been thrown around during shipping. Anyway, this one’s going back too. Means I have to walk to the post office with 400€ under my arm, not too thrilled about that, especially as I don’t have any cardboard boxes that are big enough for them. 2nd replacement scheduled to arrive on Saturday.

So… that Avengers game might have a trailer next week at the Video Game Award show…

No one watch that show just wait for the trailers the next day.

Isn’t that just an industry circlejerk anyway?

Yes. Its like a more terrible E3.

Then I’ll look forward to Jim Sterling’s snarky live-tweeting.
Oh boy! That reminds me of the sponsor mascot they had last year. That giant razer.

Discourse isn’t allowing me to post images :sob:
