candy herre is generally… well, theres a ton of it and with a lot of different flavors (well kindof) and etc… but it’s all made with high fructose corn syrup so it’s generally pretty shit lol.
unless its made by an actual candy shop but meh.
airheads are quite good though, couple other exceptions as well.

Meanwhile Coca Cola and others are pushing the “no sugar” stuff pretty hard and iirc in Germany doctors warned parents about their children drinking too much energy drinks (caffeine + sugar = bad for teenagers and kids), I think they even considered making them 18+ for purchase.

is the same here except they opted to just heavily tax drinks with sugar in them so that in some cases it costs more than alcohol XD

We have a law here that requires bars/restaurants to serve at least one non-alcoholic drink that’s cheaper than the cheapest alcoholic drink.
Yup. No idea about Stevia, though. Some kind of sugar substitution that had to be sold as “accessory for washing” cause the sugar lobby didn’t want it to take over the market. You need a lot less of it compared to sugar for the same amount of sweetness.

also cane sugar is so much better for flavor and such but oh well.

Why am I telling you all this… Well Chapters 8 to 13 [ What little has been written] are null and void. Meaning Everything I wrote in them never happened. 20 pages gone. Poof. Never to be seen by anyone but me.

Makes you wonder how much of the “big” literature (Goethe, etc) is lost and no one will ever know about it.
I think about that a bit. Knowing the Iliad and Odyssey are just parts to a larger epic always makes me wonder what the whole epic would read like.

The alternative we were looking at was Flarum, I still have an instance of it on the server thats workable but haven’t checked up on where the project is at recently. The one you mentioned above does look very interesting though and more close to Discourse by the looks of it than flarum was in its current state with the upside that is updates in realtime which was one of my biggest issues with it.

Fair enough. I was trying to remember but I stumbled upon through search skills NodeBB. NodeBB looks very polished.
I really like the idea of a realtime updating forum. It is like the bleeding edge. NodeBB also seems like it gives more fine tune controls. Like you could sandbox users in a way like Linux people can post in Linux but the toxic ones don’t get access to windows section. Granted that’d be super extreme and that forum would die hard and fast.

ye it looks very moden and quite snappy too if the video is anything to go by. it could be interesting and does seem like running something like this would be a very good fit for the lounge given the features it has with realtime chat and how intergrated it all is, plus stuff like the live text chat feature between users instead of personal messages is very neat too and the plugin support seems very good with a lot of options.
