I’m surprised they ship to Britland when you order from the German website.
I remember a few years ago this didn’t work the other way round and the trick to circumvent that was to put in an address from the country but after ordering you had to quickly change the destination. But that shit could have gotten your account closed.
that is strange. I know its always works from the US amazon as they even handle all the duty fees at the checkout but within Europe none of that should ever be an issue with the open borders for free trade.

It’s been a few years since I read that, so it probably changed.
But it was about a woman who was not local to the UK and had an Amazon.co.uk account and used that trick to get stuff from there shipped to her. They locked her account and she had all her Kindle stuff deleted from the device.

Regarding new motherboards, is it wise to do a fresh OS install too or does it not matter?
Its said to be best practice because Windows can have issues when switching hardware but honestly I never really bother and haven’t had any issues with it. The Windows install in my VM went from my i5 system to Ryzen back to the i5 again, then my laptop, back to Ryzen again and finally my VM where it is now and it still works as it did on all of them.
Linux on the other hand it shouldn’t/doesn’t matter at all when switching hardware and should just work in most cases.

Then I’ll try it first without a fresh install but keep everything ready in case something derps out (list+setup.exe of the installed programs, drivers, etc).

it is a little dark on IPS monitors lol… damn you TN panels for being so annoying at colors … though the 1080p TN panel i have isn’t bad it isnt great either.
but that’s kindof the point of the reshade, dark, filmgrainy, etc. because alternative WWII zombies.
may tweak it a little more and brighten it up a bit but still have fine tuning of the profile to do (above is a bunch of stock reshade settings so)

Got my desk in and its sooo much better. About 4x the size of my last one so i have plenty of room for shit now

also lol… RX 580 can drive WaW at 4k at 60 FPS… K
also for some reason the screenshot function only works half the time in the game… Reshade must not like DX9.
above though was originally a 24MB .BMP though so that may have something to do with it 
11 year old game engine, it makes sense.

Yeah, I’m not so sure about my Windows install though.
Just like with the random BIOS reset on cold boot, Windows also is doing a derp on the lockscreen background, sometimes not loading it (just the color of the color scheme instead) and putting the same wallpaper on both screens instead of 2 different ones.
I guess there’s a certain threshold for ordering tech stuff on Amazon where you qualify for a Business Account.

And my motherboard is being shipped from Italy. Maybe it comes with some pasta or pizza…hopefully no severed horse heads.
