The steam awards are so fucking dumb. They have nothing to do with the current year and every year the same games get nominated for the same or similar categories.
Just like the Game Award Show.

Gonna let memtest86 run overnight with the Flare X replacement kit.
Boot into BIOS, reset everything to default, let it run 1 pass on stock settings, then set it to OC with the Stiltâs DDR4-3200 Safe OC 1.4V profile and let it run til I wake up.
Well RIP my old laptop. It bursted into flames while i had it on the healing bench. Been going out for a while but oh well. Might be fixable but idk if i can/worth doing

Only award that seems deserving is Digital Extremes for Best Developer. Everything else isnât really current. PUBG got nominated for goty? it released last year. Best Environment nominees are all old, broken, or early access. Better with Friends category is all old shit. Most fun with a machine is all old.
Bethesda and ubisoft being nominated for best developer is a fucking disgrace and a joke. Rockstar put out one new game after how many years? Out of the goodness of their heart it seems valve has excluded themselves from best developer:
What has valve done recently besides make money? Have they made any games? certainly not the games people want them to make if they have made any.
They say itâs a âHighly contestedâ category, but the clear winner should be DE. It shouldnât be remotely close. DE cares more about the community than making money and there are quite a few examples of this (though their new marketing person seems to care more about making money⌠paying shit youtubers like Markiplier to play it). If any of yâall do vote on the steam awards, DE should get the vote for best developer.

Holy shit these Hearthstone nerfs are insane. Druid is hurting bad, wild growth and nourish are 1 mana more. Odd paladin is rekt with level up being pushed up to 6 mana so it can no longer be played in that deck. Even paladin is hurt a bit with a Saronite Chain Gang text change, but that change single-handedly kills the Shudderwock combo deck for standard (thank godâŚ). Kingsbane is almost destroyed since leeching poison is now only a 1 turn lifesteal buff instead of permanent.
So many nerfs, instantly putting them out, and super early in the expansion. Very interesting and seems to be pretty good overall. Thank god odd paladin is getting hurt⌠that deck has been far too good for far too long with no new cards from the last 2 expansions and still boasting over 60% win rate. This will shake up the meta, and hopefully make things much more balanced. Druid has been running wild, shudderwock has been all over the place, odd and even paladin have been top tier all year.
Looks like a mosfet for the vram died short circuit. Saw it peak at about 40W(4V 10A) before it burst into flames

Need to track down what mosfet it is. Dont have anything thats a high enough magnification to see it though.

Any good? Iâve not ever played. Everyone at my last two jobs (in my immediate vicinity) plays though.
I like it a lot. Certainly not for everyone though. Itâs quite difficult to do well if you donât spend any money on it, but they do have a few single player modes that offer some great replayability and are totally free.
imo it just needs better rewards because 3 wins to get 10 gold (and the amount you can get from that is capped each day) is extremely meager. If you ever enjoyed mtg this game fixes some of the issues that one had, particularly being mana flooded or starved and itâs simpler.
