So that’s a no on the good Zelda game.
whats wrong with BotW? The world is beautifully crafted and there’s always something new to do with a unique open ended take on combat that takes from the environment. its on par to my most favourite Zelda game of all time which is Wind Waker.
It doesn’t have proper dungeons, the world is pretty, but super boring and feels empty, it’s not Link to the Past, and it doesn’t have dungeons. It just doesn’t feel like a Zelda game and I get bored whenever I play it. It’s a walking simulator with a Zelda theme, but it’s not a Zelda game.

Went to bed at like 10:30am, set my alarm for noon, alarm went off and I reset it for 1, closed my eyes and it seemed like it instantly went off again. This recurred until I finally got up at 3 lol. Took bottles and cans back, and got some bk because I hadn’t eaten since before I started streaming lol.
Plan now is to just watch anime and go to bed at a reasonable hour. Wish I had a cigar to smoke, but they cost money and I don’t have disposable income again until the end of this month

it sorta does with the divine beasts and the shrines but i will agree there no where near as good as normal Zelda dungeons.
I slightly disagree with that, the world is super populated and detailed and there’s always something new to find and quests almost around every corner but with everything being so open ended it can be easy to get lost.
I mean sure its not a traditional Zelda game but neither was Winder Waker or Majora’s mask and those were great games. They like taking the series to new places and I’m enjoying it for what it is.

I’ve only ever played 2d Zelda before BotW and compared to those it’s lacking in every respect. To me Zelda games are primarily puzzle games, but with some combat and some rpg elements. BotW threw away the vast majority of the puzzle elements and with that my favorite part of Zelda games.
With respect to this I explored a fair amount of the map and hardly found anything. In that time other then in the villages or stables I didn’t find any quests.

Then again Nvidia just does their own press events at this point and AMD is high permanently as far as launching hardware goes so CES probably isn’t even worth paying attention to anymore.
I would like to go to it at some point, just once to see what it’s like though.
