The Lounge 0001 [From the Beginning]

Just shipped out some stuff I sold, also got some beer, will post that in the thread but amusing ones are:

One from the same company I didn’t get but was tempted to:

Both are so new they just barely have been QC tested lol, neat.

Otherwise just been playing a lot of video games and whatnot, and dealing with annoying snow and cold weather…

At least this weekend is supposed to be warm :stuck_out_tongue:

Damn, that Dragon Flute American Pale Ale looks like some really nice SNES game box art. Impressive.

Yep. I actually cut out the front of the box and added it to my wall of things, looks neat.

This is one of those “your stupid and you shouldnt do this” but the spirit of adventure.

This is soo incredibility dangerous but yet that makes it very fascinating to watch, gotta give it to the guy though, has balls knowing the risks and how stupid it is just for the experience of doing it.

yep, just the whole uncertainty and not knowing what will happen grabs me, have to think quick should i get off this train for another one, what are the cars like and how am I going to survive, is this the right train. would be a very fun adventure to have and see where you’d end up and what situations it puts you in. also wouldn’t say I’d completely against doing it too but can imagine the trouble you’d be in if you get caught would be really severe.

I’m using my PTO for tomorrow.
Supervisor: I understand. I’ll approve it.
Me sets message for being out of office and then leaves.

TLDR: I have tomorrow off.

Has anyone else played Tyranny? I’ve really enjoyed it, beaten once now doing a second play through. The only thing I really have against it is that it’s short and feels like a stripped down version of what was originally a larger story in scale. Again it’s good, but it feels like it missing a lot that should be there. I’m curious if this gels with anyone else’s feelings on the game.

I haven’t played it but I’m aware of it. Didn’t seem like a game I’d play.

I’d figure that if anyone had played it here it be you. It’s very much in the vain of classic CRPGs, but more refrain in some respects.

Even though I’ve played a few recent CRPGs like Pillars of Eternity or Shadowrun. I’m a little selective on which ones I get. I’ve gotten use to third person RPGs and first person RPGs. Going back can be jarring sometimes. Tyranny never really interested me. I read reviews. Watched videos and nothing I saw or read made me want to give it a try. That said if you like it that is all that matters.

I got it in a humble bundle with some other games on the cheap so for how much I paid it’s good, but it’s not worth much more then $12 on it’s own. I got shadowrun in the bundle but I haven’t played it yet, how is it?

Shadowrun is alright. Good little cyberpunky fantasy game.

RANT: When companies have limited amount of plays on demos and also limit what you can do. “You have 3 plays for 1 section of the game, singleplayer, and on easy difficulty”

Let me experiment with the full game if i only get 3 plays or whatever

Got it for free with Twitch Prime but like any other game I got through that I haven’t played it yet.
