Brief Writing Update and reflection [There may be rambling]:
I am currently writing Chapter 9 for Project Space. It is going well.
The changes I’ll be making to the earlier chapters 3 to 7 will alter things a little bit. That bit meaning little to zero understood dialogue. Technically there is spoken word but the main character doesn’t understand it. I debated with myself on how to portray this so I don’t have to invent a language cause I’m not Tolkien. So I’ll be describing tone of what is said and what emotion the main character thinks is behind those words. The main character will be learning this language over the course of a few chapters. The chapters will be 9 10 and 11. Yes they take place at different points but they will show a natural progression.
You may wonder if I know where the story is going. Yes. I know exactly what the main character wants to do. I know her end goal. She will strive to reach it but it will take time to make the attempt. There is a very real chance she could fail. I’m allowing for that possibility because it allows for the story to be real. Failure is a part of life. It could lead the character to change her end goal and alter where the story would end. I’ll find out.
TLDR: Project Space is probably going to be long. It won’t be boring though.

yep might just do that. pfSense has a package for managing cron jobs so could probably set that up easily and also have another job to restart the service if it dies too as a failsafe

I left a cup at work… all is lost… nah I’ll retrieve it tomorrow cause work is 30 minutes away.
Though this does mean I’ll have to get Monster in the morning a bottle of Gatorade. The bottle of Gatorade I’ll use for water once it is empty. Normal I take my cup with Frost Flavor Gatorade powder [Praise Walmart for selling large cans of it cheap] but that cup is at work. No I don’t trust the cleaning stuff in the work kitchen.
I have a lot on my mind but I’m alright.

Weather here is absolutely terrible, hopefully most of my clients cancel today.
Unfortunately drinking at work is frowned upon so it’s going to be one long day… I can’t wait to take over everything, would remove over half the bullshit I deal with.

Got a dentist appointment on Thursday cause I noticed some discoloration/mild split-off (the fuck? what am I brushing 2x-3x a day, floss, use mouthwash and went to the dentist like 6x since last December for?).
I also just ate 3 bowls of chocolate cereal cause fuck it. If I already have a dentist appointment I can splurge a bit on the sugary stuff (which I crave like 2-3 times a year, other than that I don’t care for sweets).
Watched a squirrel climb up a tree and on the roof of our 6 story apartment building today. No idea what it’s hoping to find there but it’s the 2nd time I’ve seen it do that.

The brightness on this Philips monitor is insane. Even at 30% (assuming 0-100 is done in equal steps) it’s too bright for a dark room.
