they arent going to disable back end pipelines
it would still be scaling rate of 1>1.99 when you go from 1 thread per core to 2
working from the assumption so far zen has been fairly decent as far as marketing points/nothing really dumb they tried to say is some great feature, pretty much been as advertised other than the clock boosting
if they go from 2 way smt to 4 and gain at most a couple percent in multi threaded and probably slower in many workloads(from increased switching between threads with no resources to back it up)
they would get lambasted for dumbest marketing gimmick yet, if they like ibm, oracle etc, actually execute 2 threads per clock, i.e. have 2 cores rammed into 1 but with the 1 scheduler and just say its 4 threads(or locked down to 2 whatever), if they increase the execution resources by 50>100%+ then there would be significant uplift with the extra threads, being basically 2x multi threaded per core(if 4 way smt) else it would be like say the 8 core perform 99% the speed of a zen 2 16 core with smt disabled assuming similar clocks and no uplift in ipc, while also gaining ipc from the increased execution units

so… if they dont do marketing blunder, would still be like zen3 8core being faster then zen2 12 core with smt2, probably comparable to zen 2 16 core, if they straight doubled the backend in multi threaded anyways

So in the new Hearthstone pve adventure, it’s in a typical dungeon run format for the most part. Tons of fun for me. The final boss, however, has 300 health! Luckily they don’t regenerate the health until you finally kill it regardless of how many runs it takes you.
So, my first run at the chapter 1 boss with the paladin/shaman (I beat chapter 2 in one go with him, including the boss). I got him down to 1 FUCKING HEALTH LEFT!!! and he ended up killing me with my own treasure and I may have forgot I played a battlecry that drew 2 cards and I was already deep into fatigue, like 12 or so at that point so my shudderwock didn’t really do me any favors… it also healed the 1 target on the board 3 that I didn’t want it to heal out of like 8 targets so rng definitely wasn’t on my side with that card…
So now, I have to start over and go all the way through the other 7 bosses to deal 1 FUCKING DAMAGE to a boss that I had multiple opportunities for rng (and not even god-tier rng… like 60+% likelihood rng if I were to be ultra-conservative with some of the probabilities) to win that game.

In other news, out in Cali there’s stuff like this floating around… A 1957 Nash Ambassador with rust free, all original exterior and interior. Needs a complete rebuild otherwise lol, but I can get an LS1 or something with a complete transmission for like $3000 
not that I’m going to now, but if this is still up in a few months, I may pick it up for something around the $2500 price they want. Though… That’s only if I have the extra and yada.
But still, interesting.

yep before hand everyone seemed really hopeful this’d finally be it but then they throw a nether update up us. don’t get me wrong nether stuff looks kinda cool for what little they showed but was really hoping for cave updates its just too long overdue and they must know it at this point

I’m finally setting up my VM for Windows Testing again. I had lost the one I had because of a VMware update that destroyed it… so I’m using Virtualbox for this new one.
Then I can get back to bug reporting on Windows builds that aren’t public yet.

It actual finished installing at about 2022. I’m installing Debian in a VM at the moment. Won’t take too long.
ye usually the weighting of the progress percentages dont line up alot of the time very evenly :x
i’m not sure whats up but my phone can hardly get a signal at home right now and at best if It does can only pick up Edge on mobile data which is strange because the closest tower is literally across the street from us
