Iām currently massively growing my ROM collection.
Just Nintendo systems for now (SNES, GBA and GC).
Cemu looks interesting with the ability to run Switch games but even though a Switch is still ~310ā¬ I would kinda want to play those natively.

Yeah, thereās a lot of trash (as with all platforms) but some really nice games too.
And I know I got a PS2 and PSP emulator running a few years ago, I think I lost the BIOS file for the PS2 and donāt remember how to set it up. With the Nintendo emulators itās just click and run.
My rom collection is currently is at 236GBs and 10500 files and thats only Nintendo. want to grow my PSX/PS2/PSP etc but I donāt have anywhere near the file storage those, plus the emulators for the Switch arenāt as great for those 
If you want a Switch you should consider getting the Lite. imo way better to use then the regular for handheld and at only 200ā¬. plus if you wait for Black Friday you should be able to get a pretty good deal with a couple of games.
If you need the PS2 BIOS files I can set you in the right direction

like say a 2d mario vs a 2d donkey kong, rayman, earth worm jim, sonic, 2d crash bandicoot etc
mario is like low effort kid shit, resulting in say mario maker 2 being by far the best mario in like forever, cause get actual effort put into levels

cause hundreds of jap only games, and shitload of games in general
nintendo barely in the top in most of the categories other than in the, pop music but of video games thing, where they are easy to get into/not too easy to get discouraged by it being a challenge, very pc/family friendly elements/themes
With a huge amount of them being trash or just have aged very poorly.

Its not that there terrible but more work needs done but with stuf like Lakka, L4T and Android its getting better, plus thereās a native port for PPSSPP to get PSP games working and its look very promising
nah mean if did like say
donkey kong(which people wont even play over half the donkey kong titles) compared to megaman/rocman
zelda(which the second one with better gameplay most people hate)compared to castlevania etc
then you get other stuff like final fantasy, street fighter, contra, metroid, punchout, bunch of flying shooters and stuff
some standout franchies atleast from nintedo like kirby, dr mario(which they never make any games for, but has not had any shit games atleast like most the others have)
