its water cooled so heat isnt a issue. More so the file is many layers and all 1 object. So it takes this single object and converts it to gcode and then sends it to the laser cutter. Problem is this gcode is larger than the controller can store. This causes the laser and software to freeze up

ah right, so its pretty much hitting the buffer and just canât keep up with all the work it has todo.

ye? like optimising the cutting path and removing the excess, etc but should still come out just as good?

was about 8 layers worth of cuts. Merged/Simplified the design to allow for faster cutting.

So with the layers being merged it might have slightly less depth between the cuts but overall the design should still mostly look the same?
but it still runs it or had to heavily modify/transfer the file to something it can work with better?

not much, playing videogames while switching from days to night schedule. also watched the entire first season of the Witcher on netflix, not bad at all. i could never get into the games because of the godawful gameplay in the first one and⌠less terrible but still annoying in the second one, but the show is really interesting.
also got the volvo smogged (it passed after i fixed the evap) and just need to go get a new title now. also put it for sale. will see what happens.

RIP. The power been out long? usually when we have outage there never more than an hour at most. least you found some todo with your time but I always end up needing the internet in some way when programming too.

Its not out. There is not any XD. Just passed the electrical inspection so i can the power turned on some time next week
