inb4 the person cancels the appointment at the last minute because of the blizzard or just doesn’t show up at all.
30min after the appointment should’ve started.
when they call the next day to reschedule
“Oh, I thought I automatically get a new appointment. It’s not my fault there was a blizzard. You should take responsibility cause you expected me to go outside in that weather. I want my money back! I’ll never shop here again and will let people know online what a terrible job you do. Let me speak to the manager!”
inb4 giga: i am the manager
My only real complaint with cigars daily is they aren’t as up front about their freebies and deals as famous. Just ordered a box of a limited punch cigar and got a freebie that doesn’t show up anywhere on the site until you check your cart
That 1 appointment ever show up?
Not much. It’s ~5:15am and I’m just going to sleep.
New lenses for my glasses still haven’t arrived (but I’ll probably jinx it by saying that and they’re going to arrive today). But I’ll probably wait until Saturday to get them swapped so I can get a bit more “mileage” out of these. Like, kinda getting a feel what the lenses can withstand without actually damaging them. Just for cleaning, though. Would be pissed if some dust suddenly scratches the whole thing while cleaning with a soft microfiber cloth.
And just ordered the Tin T2.
Sup with the rest here?
should be ordering a cute pet pc case
waiting for insurance forms to show up cause new job fucced my old insurance, and waiting like 10 days so i can buy dumb shiz again without paying for it for like 2 months for free lol
You mean like you buy now and pay in 2 months? Why?
credit cards
if i buy shiz right after billing cycle, is like 31days for that cycle then i have bunch of time to pay for that cycle, so they have time to mail me a statement etc, really only like 45days or something but… bunch of time for 0 interest lol
I never really understood the appeal of credit cards except that they’re accepted as a form of payment in lots of places. But here cash and debit card is kinda all you need. Maybe for some online stores but I think they’re offering more and more alternative payment methods (like Paypal and stuff).
So you basically don’t pay with your money (cash or account) but you add it all up on your credit card and then at the end of the billing cycle they pull it from your bank account?
ye if set it up to auto pay
but get to boost my credit scores so my information can be leaked by major credit companies, and qualify for higher credit limits/loans and stuff
but basically is like can loan myself money, have a hamburger today and pay for it tuesday, and aslong as i do, no fees etc, and i get kick back increase credit score
like if see something on sale/good price, can just buy it now, pay for it later, instead of having to transfer money from other account, and then pay for it, then put money back, just pay for it with next pay check
Is this a US-only thing? Never heard of that here.
I can overdraw too. But with fees. Fortunately it’s been years since I last did that.
Never been a fan of that. If I want something I buy it when I can afford it. I mean “luxury” things that aren’t necessary for living (like a new HDD/SSD, IEMs, etc; not food or something like that).
Also, I suck at keeping track of when I have to pay what and I’M sure I’d forget like 50% of that and be pissed at myself when there’s suddenly less in my account than I expected.
kind of, different in different countries pretty similar in cannukistan/uk
but basically if i buy shit/take out loans and pay them back and stuff, increases my ability to get more access to higher loans/lower interest rates, better credit card offers/savings accounts with higher interest rates,
some countries is just individual bank vs you, tracking your money you make etc, or if you had defaulted on loans/missed payments.
is basically in my account i can use with debit, usually dont have money in it, but thats where paychecks get dumped/where i would buy stuff, but with credit card i can just buy shiz without having to check the amount in the account, to transfer it from the second one to that one etc. dont have overdraft so will just decline any transaction over the amount(so its harder to jacc my shiz)
edit: basically if they jacc my credit card numbers, if i notice/dispute when the statement is due, can do chargeback get a new card before i ever have to pay, if its on my debit, the money is gone instantly, and in theory could prolly get it back, but your still out that money the whole time until it gets returned
So, if it’s without interest, do you have to pay a fee or something? How else are the credit card companies making money?
is without interest cause i just pay it off right away, if i didnt then its pretty bad lel like 25% or something, they also charge fees for processing from the retailers but debit does that also in the us pretty sure
Yup, that’s why some places don’t allow you to pay with debit card if it’s under a certain total cause the fee they have to pay is higher or something or not worth and they make a loss on the stuff they sell you. Like my regular shop where I buy tobacco and magazines usually only allows you to pay starting at 10€ (which is like 2 packs of cigarettes) but if you’re a regular and they know you they allow you to play with debit card even if you’re a bit short of 10€.
And the bank charges you for every payment you do with debit card or direct debit (like on Amazon, Steam, etc). They make enough from the money they hold for you and from account maintenance fees, so it kinda sucks they charge you for paying with your own money in your account. But at least it’s not as much as some online shops charge you just for paying with a certain payment method.
