Yeah, more like a summary of happenings. Most of them are already outdated to be called news.
Even more so with newspapers. Even before theyāre printed theyāre outdated and youāre basically reading a summary of things that happened from the day before. Which was fine in the past but nowadays with the speed of the internet itās almost antiquated.
No idea about Joe Rogan. Never listened to his podcast. Iām getting mixed signals about him from the few clips that Iāve seen.

The JRE show is interesting, most of the clips donāt really show what the whole thing is like though. I like it because I find long format content really nice now way more than short format. But more importantly, Joe Rogan is really good at two things; getting interesting people on the show, and asking them questions that are actually useful to have them answer/share the views the said interesting people have.
For me, I happen to agree with a lot of what the guy says but also disagree with a lot but I like that he will have pretty much anything on the show and ask whoever it is good questions.
The Alex Jones episode was great, and both Elon Musk ones. And recently heās had a wide variety of people on it from scientists to NRA members, to small musical groups so it varies a lot.
So the classic podcast format, right?
How does this relate to news?
Because he actually interviews newsworthy people on occasion, like Dr Fauci when corona first started. While technically not specifically news, still better info when he has those kind of people on than most actually news places these days lol
I usually watch that or live streams of insert major event here to get whatever info I need from various events. That and sometimes? Social media can be useful for finding stuff, but sometimes itās also terrible so mehh

In other news, now have worked through 2 and in the middle of a third Warhammer 40K book from a humble bundle I got a while ago. Only 11 more to read lol. But so far so good, havenāt had to skip any from them being boring so pretty happy with the $15 or whatever it was to get them all.

Does he try to keep the interviews unbiased or is there an agenda noticeable in his questions?
Like, does he try to steer the conversations in certain direction to get the answers that he wants/to fit a narrative?
IMO social media is - for the most parts - a heavily biased echo chamber, a place for people to voice their opinions and hope to get a response that is in line with their way of seeing things. Anyone with a different opinion - regardless if itās good or bad - gets ignored, blocked, removed and/or flooded with all kinds of negative feedback.
You really have to sift through all those hundreds of thousands of accounts and groups to find one thatās moderately unbiased and is open for constructive criticism.
Social media and news are powerful instruments for manipulation. (and Iām not saying that Iām immune to being manipulated)
Fuck, I donāt know when the last time was that I actually read a book and finished it.
But Iāve been keeping up with reading a lot of mangaā¦if I didnāt manage them in an app Iād probably lost track of them a long time ago.
Itās starting to get hot here. The days are okayish when you donāt have to go outside but the nights are annoying when thereās barely any wind and the hot air just sits there, even though I have a fan running in my room 24/7.
And now of all times I started playing a game thatās not one where I can go brain-AFK and watch/listen to something on the side. But with the GPU hitting 65Ā°C and dumping that heat into the room Iām not sure if I want to/can enjoy the game like that.
Also, after being awake for ~35h in a failed attempt to fix my sleep cycle I slept for 15h. Now Iāll try to stay up again for 26h to fix itā¦again.

from what ive watched so far, he has certain biases towards certain things (like he was a fighter for a long time, so believes in staying healthy, getting vitamins, also is a stoner guy lol) but as far as i can tell he mostly just genuinely is interested in what people have to say.
yup, mostly i dont have time for it, used to be awesome when twitter was actually linear but even now its so annoying to find anything pretty much stopped using it

Well, yeah, thatās why the 29h (4pm-9pm) turned into 35h, cause I had 2x cans of monster and 1x can red bull in my system.
I wanted to use this Sunday to play more Yakuza 0 but that obviously didnāt happen after waking up ~6pm.
Weather forecast is all over the place. No source says the same thing as another. Itās supposed to rain here during the night. Already ~2:20am but no sign of that. Also, yesterday and the day before swallows (or might be swifts) were shouting a lot and flying low (which is usually a sign for rain and/or thunderstorms (something about the atmospheric pressure and the insects flying lower cause of it which causes the birds to fly lower to catch the insects) but there was none of that.

I like Star Wars (OG trilogy) a bit more but I wouldnāt call myself a fan.
Probably gonna take a few hours to find something I can put in a playlist and let play for background noise while procrastinating on the interwebz.

vega runs so hot when i rebuilt my system with 3950x i had the gpu brace set to close to the thing and one of the fans just barely touched it and i didnt notice for like a week cause i never heard the fan go cept for like 2 seconds at startup lol
apparently dead island max everything 4k isnt enough to make the fan go i am speed
or i have to many side fans and shit and its just jetting air into the thing as if they were on idk
