In other news after 6 hours of work I haveā¦ The outline and most of the bench results and some good broll of games to use for background in the video Iām making of the review of the 6970s.
Probably will be another 6 before its near done.
And then more after that to make sure its good and everything. Still have to figure out if I want to do b-roll of the GPUs and so on, and also do a bit of history digging to compare what its like now to when launched.
Also I figured out why the 6970s are so annoying to OC. They are potato versions of the cards compared to the one on launch because these were made like 3 years later because logic? So they donāt have dual BIOSes or anything fancy. Funnily enough the cooler is better though. So Iāll probably flash a new bios on both cards to get better OCing.
Looks like im going to have to find another mail provider because the one im going through is not letting me send emails because the domain is blacklisted with no way for me to remove it

Yeah even if the parts were at MSRP thatās a great price. Now the 480 is worth roughly 150 more than heās asking lol. I wish I wasnāt always working right nowā¦ Iād snatch that up in a heartbeat if someone didnāt beat me to it.
Thereās also a 970 someoneās selling for only $300. People donāt know what they have out here I hopeā¦ or itās all dead hardware.

Its mostly the same here. 970s are going for around Ā£200 which is $280ish. half tempted to actually sell mine but idk yet.

ah right Iām guessing thats why the domain is on the blacklist? iirc most mail provides donāt like domains without DMARC records.
domain is on the blacklist because its a residential connection. Im just going to use the main domain for mail instead as that has no blacklist on it

That is annoying that it works like that but will see about fixing it.
Unrelated; may have just got 2x Radeon 5970s for $65 each, will see. The guy who has them isnāt sure if he wants to sell but if he does, it will be awesome. Will be able to test old school quadfire

i can work around the whole blacklist thing fairly easily but we need stuff like MX records setup
