hmm so QC 3.0 doesn’t work on LineageOS but my power bank completes the QC handshake and says its working when booted into Android. Will need to do some testing.

This week is crunch time at work partly cause the month is ending. I’m keeping the breaks I take very short to get through what I need to do. Also listening to a 2 hour and 30 minute playlist I made of music from Various Doctor Who Soundtracks.

I do have a goal for how much I’d like to write today for Sam’s Wasteland Within [Still focusing on quality], not going to state what it is but I’ll Iet you know if I succeed or not and what the goal was tomorrow.

On a different note I’m consider doing a weekly one hour livestream of my photography sessions of Hellblade would any of you being instrested in watching this. It would be on Saturday’s from 13 00 to 14 00 EST. It would start next Saturday cause I’ll be away this Saturday.

So this doesn’t work. charges slightly faster on the power bank compared to AC power brick but no where near as quick as when I boot into recovery

So it looks like the reason quick charge doesn’t work is because the stock lineage kernel for my device isn’t configured for it. apparently running a custom kernel fixes it but brings a load of other issues and the developer for LG5 doesn’t know how to fix it so they just disabled it

couldnt you just compile a kernel with it patched from linage?

Yes. I’m looking at the stock kernel config for the G5 now to find the kernel parameters I need to enable to get this working.

yes assuming I can find it. looking at the stock rom couldn’t find anything at all todo with quickcharge.

Its still broken as It needs a new inner tube and haven’t got around to getting one yet.

outer is mostly fine, it has a mark where it was slashed but it isn’t that bad and shouldn’t be a problem.
