I didn’t think that it was surprising that they didn’t use solder. They’re cheap parts of course AMD would save cost where they could on low end parts.

I’m not surprised either but for a slightly different reason; I’m not so sure the GPU die would have like soldering so.

Also the fact that a lot of previous gen APUs have had TIM.

Results are quite decent from delidding but nowhere near as much of a difference as on Intel chips.
