AFter seeing what they did with doom, im sure they have something going atm. Is probably why we have not heard anything about a new ES game

They weren’t always indie. They made Heavenly Sword (PS3, Sony), Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (Namco Bandai Games) and DmC (Capcom) too.
yep. been more than 6 years since they released skyrim so one is around the horizon

@Dje4321 ID Tech 6 is a much better engine then Bethesda Game Studios Creation Engine it’ been around in some form since morrowind

Yes but after how much praise that engine got, im sure someone at Bethesda is taking notes.
I doubt it. I still think its going to be a few years until we see anything about a new ES game or IP

Heavenly Sword was a launch title for the PS3. They put a lot of effort into it (motion capturing - when it was still new for games - with Andy Fucking Serkis).
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is awesome. Still $20 on Steam but can be cheaper on sale (I paid nowhere that much).
DmC is the controversial reboot of the Devil May Cry series. Hardcore fans hated on it but it’s supposed to be a good game on its own.
Skyrim 5: now as a text adventure.

That was the main point of the shitstorm. He’s named Dante but he’s not the old Dante.
he lost most of what made the game good.
New DmC game looked like it had great gameplay but lacked in the story department

That is essentially true, game was soo much fun to play but story was soo bad I ended up not finishing it.
The single best game I played last year was Nier: Automata, it had great story, great gameplay. the only bad part is the lack of proper support on pc, but those problems can easily be fix with FAR. also no linux
