Alright I’ve found the cause of the problem. Sound on Windows is broken no matter what audio device is being used if Looking Glass is also running at the same time. Everything works fine without it but as soon as I run the client sound breaks.
Will need to check if its a known issue or specific to my setup somehow.

so im trying to download xcom enemy unknown and the fucking download keeps failing

Not as bad as I was expecting. may have been thinking of XCOM2
xcom 2 was 50G+ iirc
just checked its only 31GBs. not as bad but still far cry from the 2.6GBs enemy unknown
Have it in my library if you ever wanted to try it instead if enemy unknown keeps failing, thats if you want to tackle that download though.

Honestly i might fire up a torrent client and skip the seedbox
ah right might be a good idea. Not sure why it would keep failing on seedbox though.

Yep AMD open sourced their Vulkan driver. Haven’t done much reading on it yet though so not sure how it compares to the community driver already in use.
kek that is quite the outrage. I’m interested in what their response will be.
