nice. I think the lack of stock is mostly to do with Christmas and they havenāt restocked yet for the new year. Iām just hoping they still have some left when I get there.

tbh, Iām not as excited to get one as when it launched. The style of New Kong City in Super Mario Odyssey puts me off and Breath of the Wildā¦meh. In addition to that, the ārelease ALL the old games for full priceā also makes me not want to buy one.
Iām mostly alright with that. I just want another handheld I can play when Iām not at home and the switch is great for that. I donāt like how expensive the first party games can be but it is Nintendo and they great games that Iāll put a lot of time into so I can live with it.
Just be prepared that if you want to buy games from the online store, that youāre going to need a big microSD. I think one of the Resident Evil titles needs over 20GB of space.

Yep at least it isnāt proprietary like the vita through. I do have a couple 32gb sdcards which should be good for now.

The propietary part and the high prices kinda killed the Vita in the West for the mainstream.
And many people werenāt happy about the fact that they didnāt have a choice of carrier for the 3G version.
Then the relatively high launch price (iirc ~250ā¬ for the WLAN version and ~270-280ā¬ for the 3G version). You could get a PS3 for that price at that time. Sure, those arenāt portable (desktop vs laptop argument), but still.

The majority of games (both 1st and 3d party) arenāt interesting me that much to buy a console. Theyāre either available for other platforms (incl. PC) or I donāt really care about them.
What games will you get?
Was going to get Zelda and Odassy but the other store only have Zelda so probably just that unless they also have Mario kart but donāt know yet.
is also skyrim, stardew valley, binding of issac, mario & rabbids, rocket league, minecraft, etc

Yep. I kinda want Minecraft for it but the current version is discontinued until they update it and canāt even buy it anymore. Was seriously looking at Mario rabbits as s well because I love tactics style RPGs and it looks like fun.
Also typing on your phone outside at 1C is hard

415 out of 569 games for the switch are also available on other platforms. Unless you really want to play them on the got it just doesnāt make much sense to me, especially if you already have them.
Skyrim is 45ā¬ (60ā¬ for just the DL code) here, compared to max 28ā¬ on the other platforms (PC being the lowest with 18ā¬).
LA Noire also costs more (35ā¬ Switch vs 32ā¬ PS4/XBOX).
MC is 40ā¬ for the Switch (okay, PS4 is 54ā¬ on Amazon, fuck that).
yes but you cant play your xbox games on the go. A new gaming laptop costs alot of money
