Now, I thought that the holy crusader questline was awesome in Oblivion, because your couldn’t wear it if you did hte thieves guild after. You had to do the murdering and theft beforehand.

Yep. Atleast let me use my guildmaster status to help with conversations. Jarl giving you a hard time? Tell him your a member of the dark brotherhood. He may become more reasonable or he may attack me on site. Atleast give my the choice lol. I shouldnt be able to be in the dark brotherhood and the theives guild at the same time since the theives guild hates murdering people
Granted skyrim has more content and easter eggs but everything you do does not affect anything else unless your doing the main quest or the civil war thing.
Yeah it would make more sense to be only able to do one guild.
I also didn’t like how you could just do one quest right after another like that either. It made the qestline feel too short.

The game just needs more front facing depth to it. Got a bounty? Watch as the city guards raid your home for any stolen goods. Is it a holiday? Have people celebrating in the streets instead of doing the same thing over and over for years on end. Just simple little things like that would make it better.
Yep. In morrowind the main quest litterally tells you to fuck off and come back when your done with everything else XD

There was a mod for holidays and I loved it in skyrim. There would be festivals and fireworks and shit.

I know that. I just found out about it. I like the perk system in skyrim but man does it need a overhaul. Many skills/perks are way too OP, require a insane amount of skill points to unlock everything, or require you to just buy your way to a high enough level. Also the magic tree is shit and has very little spells

Will have to try it again (the whole OS) on my laptop and see if they’ve fixed the issues that plagued it when I used Solus last … Over a year ago. Probably yes but I left it alone as it wasnt good enough at the time to actually use as a daily. So I put Ubunut 16.10 and Budgie over it on my laptop instead and its been like that for

I wish they’d do away with the level system and introduce a crono-dependent psudo-leveling system.
Heres an example algo
damage = currentPhysicalCondition(activeTimeTrained + gearTotal) - rand%2
Healthy in good shape? condition = 1. Anything less is a smaller number like 0.5. So you have lots of exp in a skill but if youre starving to death it wont do much good. But then theres that random chance too.

Solus is amazing for boot times and other optimisation and also the best DE budgie lol.
Only issues used to be limited software support and bugs but both have been worked on since I last used it.
I wonder if they moved off of pisi or not though.

They have flatpaks and snaps now.
Also the software center has expanded quite a bit.
I like the level system as its easy to grasp and see clear progress. I wish they would do something like morrowind with perks
I always liked the more realistic feel tbh
They could still do the whole starving thing if they wanted to. Just have it affect stuff like strength, agility, speed, etc. Just got done eating? +10 to all stats. Have not eaten in months? -50 to all stats. Could even factor in stuff like sleep if you wanted to
